ABOUT SEQUOIA
In the heart of the Magoebaskloof, loved for its mountains and forests, waterfalls and streams, Sequoia comprises six hectares of wild and formal gardens featuring two dams that reflect the seasonal colours.
Meander through the breathtaking Cherry Blossoms, Azaleas and a score of specialist blooms that will delight your senses during Spring and Summer by making use of our marked walking routes. Over 100 tree names have been put up so that visitors can identify the vast collection of indigenous and non-indigenous tree species that transform from lush hues of green to vibrant titian colours of Autumn splendor.
Have a rest at the Lily pond and watch the fish frolic and then head up to the farm's beautiful Labyrinth where you are encouraged to keep the silence and walk in peace with your inner soul. You will leave Sequoia with a spring in your step, hear your heart beating to nature's rhythm, and your mind filled with beauty and tranquility.
Book your stay in either of our two romantic and private self-catering cottages from where you can experience the beauty and the peace of the Mountain.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY

What an absolutely beautiful piece of nature. We woke up to a breathtaking misty forest on our doorstep that swept through all of the lush green gardens. Birding, walks through the gardens and secluded picnic spots allowed us to relax and have a lovely time away.
