Pros: Got to experience the heating of the pool ..well that was awesome

Cons: The tv...it should be a smar tv.

Hartbeest Bush Lodge - Do it!

Pros: It's in the bush (yay!) yet conveniently not far from a supermarket and some restaurants. It's secluded, what we were going for. Check in and out was self-service (impressive), no reporting to reception. With a stove, fridge, cutlery, crockery and a braai area, one has options: cook, braai or takeaways. There's a fireplace, tv and a comfortable couch in the lounge, so it's really hard to miss home. Another big fat plus (a nice surprise to us) was that it is very near to the Harties Dam Bridge. A slight glitch with us unable to figure out some facilities (gas stove and geyser) was addressed and sorted in no time. Oh and the charge was easy on the pocket. I recommend Hartbeest Bush Lodge for sure.

Cons: The insects, aai! But we were forewarned, and it was to be expected. We discovered two.

Perfect and peaceful stay

Pros: The location was easy to find, simple instructions to get the keys to the room. The water was hot we ,were able to take a warm shower.

Cons: Blanket (throw) had an unpleasant smell and had stains on it,one of the glasses was dirty but placed with clean ones.

Marvellous and Spectacular place to stay.

Pros: I loved how cozy they made the place. Almost felt like I’m at home. Alicia and Dirk are very friendly hosts, always there to help assist if needed. The rooms were very neat and clean. I personally will definitely recommend staying at Hartbees Eco Bush Lodge and I will also visit them again!

fun and different

Pros: the location is along the route through most destinations, and close to a number of must see locations.

Peaceful

Pros: I enjoyed the peace and quiet and the beautiful views. Finding the location was easy and the property was extremely well looked after. I had zero disturbance throughout my stay.

Cons: The shelves hung quite low so a lot of things slid off.

Acceptable for price paid

Pros: Remote and great privacy from other tenants. Two visitors each night (frogs)

Cons: Spider webs all over the place. Wasps attacking us inside and outside the flat. Worm-like insects in swimming pool.

Pros: The private pool and rooftop was amazing. The location is perfect not far from shops. The privacy is perfect minimum interaction with staff.

Cons: In the shower the roof has an opening and there will be leaves on the shower floor. Also the space near the window in the bedroom there was alot of mosquitoes and bugs due to the. We had a frog in the room due to opening space below the door. Only if they close those spaces.

We loved our stay. Would definitely recommend for a restful weekend away
