Rock House at Benlize

Had a fantastic relaxing weekend.

Pros: Absolutely fantastic view, property was clean and well stocked. Was stunning sitting in the hot tub at night gazing at the stars.

Cons: Sand road getting to the property hard on tyres, wifi was not great.

It really was an amazing experience

Pros: The location was amazing, the views were incredible and they had the most friendly staff

Pros: It was unexpectedly perfect, comfortable, clean and everything we needed was available. The view was spectacular especially at night. Braai area, rooms and kitchen is perfectly laid out. We had a awesome time as a family

A wonderful stay

Pros: We absolutely loved the place! We’ll definitely book again. Thanks to the host, Minette for making sure we were ok throughout. The view is spectacular too and the hot tub was amazing. There were peacocks roaming around too, which the kids loved.

Pros: the property is beautiful and modern, it had almost everything we neede

Cons: it was cold, i suggest the property owner should invest in gas heaters, and the hot tub was not hot. as a matter of fact we didn't use it.

I will definitely go again

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect with amazing views. My favorite part was the 3 dogs on-site .

A Quiet Stay up the Mountain

Pros: The property itself is lovely, and the size of it is huge. It was perfect for us to be able to host our parents and stay comfortably. Everything was clean and neat, and we loved that the doggies came to say hello to us every day. There was also special care taken with changing our linen and towels during the stay, which I thought was a nice touch and made up for the little things that might have bothered us.

Cons: We found the idea created by the advert a little misleading, with the pool and the gazebo being part of the unit, which, when we arrived, was not. It stated that this accommodation has lake views, a balcony, and a swimming pool. It was disappointing as we would have liked to use the pool and not walk some way back to our place. I was told days before our arrival that the spa was for private use. However, the spa was a bath without jets, and as we are tourists, we had no idea or planning as to how we had to heat this up. It did put a little damper on our holiday plans. We also struggled with not having an air conditioner, especially with days reaching 36 degrees. The owner was kind enough to send us an additional fan, however, not having the comfort of cool air makes it difficult to enjoy every moment of ones holiday.

it was exactly the weekend getaway we needed :)

Pros: The house exceeded our expectations. it was everything we needed and more and we will be coming back.
