Lovely place with everything you need in your doorstep also get close to lots of attractions such as Kruger Park, Blyde

Mid-week stay with family.

Pros: The Lodge itself has an ideal location and featured typical thatched roofed houses. Gardens and common areas are well kept. Unit 209 was beautifully decorated with modern finishes and well-equipped kitchen area and laundry. The outdoor BBQ area was our favourite spot and excellent for dinner time and socialising. The deck looked out on the river and made for an excellent location in the Lodge. The house was cleaned every day. The family had a wonderful stay and we strongly recommend. Not far from the KNP Phabeni gate. There are 3 bathrooms (but be aware, no guest toilet on the ground floor.)

Delightful Stay with Every Comfort Considered

Pros: Well equipped unit with a fantastic view. The host, Joey, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing helpful recommendations and quick responses to any queries. The location was fantastic, close to everything we wanted to explore. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

The best days of my life.

Pros: Location was perfect. All relevant areas easily accessible. Mall very close and therefore one could access all the restaurants.

Cons: They can improve their kitchen. Food was salty and we could not visit their restaurant again! What an inconvenience…… Potholes on the main roads are a turn off although that’s the government’s responsibility.

We all enjoyed our stay at this unit.

Pros: Location was perfect - right on the flowing river. Unit was clean & mostly functional. Beds were comfortable and warm. Wifi was easy to connect to. DSTV had limited options but was available.

Cons: Was unable to access unit before 4pm. Struggled to get the stove to work. It is either broken or we are really stupid - pressed every button and every combination of buttons without success. Had to prep dinner in relays via the microwave. There was a manual for the hob but not the stove. We also stupidly forgot to pack dishwashing liquid and there was none on site - couldn't wash coffee cups or lunch dishes to be re-used later etc, was a bit frustrating. Unit comes with loo rolls and soap - may be an idea to just include a small bottle of dishwashing liquid too.
