Comfortable and peaceful stay, hosted with genuine care and warmth

Pros: The place clearly reflects a lot of care and attention to detail — stylish yet very practical, with thoughtful touches that made it easy to settle in. The location was excellent, and privacy was well maintained despite nearby properties.

Cons: Perhaps the only small suggestion would be to provide some check-in details in advance of arrival, as connectivity can be patchy while travelling. The host’s communication was otherwise thoughtful, kind and prompt.

Pros: A truly beautiful and welcoming cottage. We even enjoyed visits from harmless wild animals, which made the experience extra special. Everything was very clean and well kept. I had an absolutely wonderful weekend, exactly what we were hoping for. The pictures honestly don’t do the place justice; it’s far more beautiful in person. We will definitely be going back very soon.

Cons: That my stay had to come to an end. I really enjoyed everything.

Pros: Beautiful, cozy, and intimate place. The pictures don't do it justice. Oh, love the animals that pass through during the day and in the late afternoon. That was my highlight. Loved the welcome wine with the little bow. I'm definitely coming back again.

Very good stay at Oriole

Pros: Very good cottage. We loved everything. Good contact with the host. Very nice terrace. We have done lovely walks in the morning. Easy to make a nice meal. When We visit Hoedspruit again We will stay at Oriole.

Cons: Water of the plunge pool was freezing
