A “Happy” and “Homely” place

Pros: The cottage was very clean and neat. We loved the decorations and the room amenities as well as the beautiful succulent garden which drew lovely birds to the cottage. The hosts went the extra mile and put a lot of thought and effort into the cottage. Barry and Theresa were great hosts, and always available if we needed anything. I would highly recommend The Bird House.

Pros: I really loved the place. It was very clean and tidy, with an amazing atmosphere. The trees added such a beautiful view, making the stay even more enjoyable. I had a wonderful time and wished I could have stayed longer. The place is incredibly relaxing and refreshing. The hosts were truly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. This is a place I would definitely recommend and visit again. I had an amazing time with my partner!

Pros: The unit exceeded our expectations, appearing even more impressive in person than in the images. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Barry and Theresa were exceptional hosts, greeting us upon arrival and suggesting several local attractions. We appreciated the daily housekeeping, which kept the property immaculate. The garden facing the patio added a charming touch. Additionally, the property is home to numerous birds, and a bird book is available for reference. At night, we could hear lions and hyenas from the nearby Moholoholo Rehab Centre, adding to the unique experience. Growing up, I only knew this area as the location of a filling station, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover the vibrant community beyond. We are definitely planning to return.
