Amazing stay with a view

Pros: As many said: the pictures don't do justice on how beautiful it really is. 'Bush television' all day long, on both banks of the river. Comfy bed, aircon, well equipped kitchen and spacious. Malelane is a 10 minute drive for groceries and restaurants if you like. Malelane gate to Kruger is 20 minutes. Hosts are amazing and friendly and their dogs became best friends with us. Braai and fire pit area along the river with a scenic view.

Cons: We only missed a couple of basic items in the kitchen like a dish brush and cooking oil.

Pros: We ended our South Africa trip here, and it truly felt like the perfect finale to an unforgettable journey. The owners welcomed us with a kindness and warmth that went far beyond what we ever expected, and the place itself turned out to be even more beautiful and special than the photos could ever show. It’s all in the name. A true hidden gem on the Crocodile River!

Pros: From the moment we arrived, it instantly felt like home. Peaceful, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you could need. The photos are true to what you see. The views are absolutely breathtaking, with resident fish eagles and abundant birdlife right on your doorstep. We were spoiled with sightings of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe various buck, and other wildlife passing by as we enjoyed our relaxed daily braai’s (BBQ). Evenings around the fire pit, listening to the sounds of nature under a sky full of stars, made our stay unforgettable. Just 20 minutes from the Malelane Gate into the Kruger? Perfection. Highly recommended! Thank you to Stacy, the family, the staff and of course Speckels you all out did yourselves. We can’t wait for our return.
