It was refreshing.

Pros: The location of this place is just amazing. My partner and I liked everything about this place. The host was very lovely too, we self-checked in since we arrived late and were guided on how to get access to the property. The place was clean and it has everything you need in a self catering unit. We really enjoyed our stay here and I think we’ll go back every time we need a quiet place to relax. Not forgetting that there’s amazing views

Cons: If I had to complain about something it would be that there was no mop in the room. I think we need one in case we spill water or a drink on the floor.

Pros: Check water supply as we found red water when we arrived. Otherwise the place is fine. The shower is meant for sexy once not chubby people. Only one could enter. Staff response was amazing

Pros: The place is so homey and peaceful, and the staff is always online ready to answer all your needs. They check in and check out effortless...thumbs up on everything will definitely be going back here. Ooh and they have a catalog of all the things you can do in and around the area, if you had no itinerary, you'll make one with all their recommendations

Pros: The fact that it is place out of town, the quietness is really worth it for couple looking for peace of mind.

Cons: We had an issue with the gas stove, only one plate worked for a day, however I managed the following day.

Long weekend in Tzaneen

Pros: Forest View Cabins was amazing. The chalet was squeeky clean. Everything worked. When the power went off, Dayson came out the evening to switch to battery. Tracy was constantly in touch with instructions for access to the property and on leaving. Truly exquisite place, serene and quite. I will definitely be back.

Enchanting forest weekend.

Pros: The views are absolutely stunning, spectacular sunrises can be seen from the balcony. It really is like being one with nature, creatures in the surrounds can be heard throughout the day. The hydrangeas are just gorgeous. It’s a short drive to town where one can stock up on anything required for the stay. On our first night there the moon shone magnificently illuminating the night sky. We went for the local marathon and I’d forgotten how hot Tzaneen gets the cottage had all we needed.

Cons: Nothing in their control - the road going to the cabin is gravel or that red clay like substance typical of far out places in Mpumalanga and Limpopo. It’s ideal for cars which are raised up from the ground. We managed to get there in our low profile car driving very slowly.
