Should have been two nights ( in sunny weather)

Pros: Meals were fantastic and served with smiling faces. Dining room view amazing...even through the rain

Cons: Only thing I can think of is the section of water logged path leading to the one bridge. Need french drain down to lake. The google map shows that i need to turn right at the T junction instead of going straight across to your gates...could be tricky if arriving after dark.

Perfect for an overnight stop and 45 mins from Jo'berg airport.

Pros: Nice country style hotel with lovely big grounds, very quiet when I stayed but would be lively with lots of guests. Easy to find, lovely food and helpful staff. Comfortable room and very good price.

Cons: Nothing really - swimming pool water perhaps needed a bit of a clean.

Cons: Only activity is fishing and still have to pay for

Pros: I had a wonderful stay in the room I booked. It was very clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the pictures. The scenic views were amazing, with a lovely river flowing around the lodge. The sheets and bedding were spotless.. The culinary experience was delightful. I started with the carpaccio, which was truly divine, and the English breakfast was prepared to my liking. Since it was the middle of winter, the fireplace was lit for me during my meal, which I greatly appreciated. The staff was absolutely amazing; they made me feel very comfortable during my solo stay .They were exceptional. The lady at reception was sweet, lovely, and a breath of fresh air. The pregnant lady who handled my room and breakfast made me feel like a queen with her attentive service.

Cons: I wasn't satisfied with the main course meal of steak and vegetables. The oil used had an unpleasant smell, and although I requested a medium to well-done steak, it was served well-done and very chewy. The vegetables didn't add much to the dish. Cooking steak to perfection is challenging, even for professional chefs. Offering a variety in the main courses would be great since not everyone enjoys steak, myself included, due to its demanding cooking requirements for the right consistency. Including seafood options would be a welcome addition. Additionally, the dessert options need significant improvement. As someone who is lactose intolerant, the only available option for me was fruit, which felt lazy and not inclusive. It would be beneficial to offer more diverse and thoughtful dessert choices to accommodate various dietary needs.

Pros: I don’t heaven but l would mind if l go to this place in my next life. The place is perfect from the reception stuff are professional. But my highlights is n the food who ever prepared that food is the best….

The staff were excellent and provided a golf buggy to view the beautiful gardens

Beautiful quick break from the city, beautiful place with nice views

Pros: The location is perfect, just outside JHB, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the place is beautiful. Had a fireplace going, had some wine. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. Would recommend.
