The perfect weekend away

Great pitstop in Ermelo

Pros: The interior of the farm stay was very creative, a piece of art. The beds are comfortable and the picnic area in front is very idyllic. We enjoyed our stay after a long day of driving.

Cons: The kitchen has an oven, fridge and a sink, but there was only 1 burner available. We did not meet the hosts.

Perfect overnight spot on your way to or from Kruger

Pros: Good place, just outside Ermelo, to overnight on your way to Kruger. Ilze is super friendly, helpful and provided good advice on our route to Kruger. Would happy stay there again.

Perfect stopover around Ermelo

Pros: This stopover was so unexpectedly wonderful. We arrived smack in the middle of lambing season and got to walk through the fields with baby lambs frolicking all around us. The cottage itself was just what we needed--well equipped with comfortable beds and sofas. The high ceilings make it feel light and spacious. 10/10 would stay here again.

Lovely farm stay, peaceful and comfortable with all the amenities of home

Pros: Really nice decor. Lovely farm and good amenities, kitted out for load shedding scenario

Cons: Beds were a little springy. Bedroom was a bit bright

Pros: This place is a hidden gem! It’s a place to be, let go and enjoy. Our kids got immediately involved in taking care of the animals and simply loved it! We didn’t want to leave, could have stayed much longer if we hadn’t to catch our flight back home.
