Amazing, going to do it again

Pros: The nature. The set up of having your own chalet and having the privacy to enjoy yourself like you in the wild but safe. It’s clean; it’s safe; it’s a breath of fresh air. It’s a great experience I would recommend to anyone You have your own fire you can make, braai area. All in the comfort of one area. My partner and I had an amazing time as we spend good quality time together and the place created that for us The owner was an amazing person and the staff were absolutely amazing as well and I appreciate that. Spa services were also amazing getting a massage out in the open with the flow of the river was a great experience One of the best massage I have gotten Thank you for everything this was amazing

Invigorating retreat

Pros: The natural set up...the deco....the peace and tranquility ....the ambience.... sound of the water from the river nearby . The staff was polite and professional. The privacy and being so close to nature.....I loved the sweet donkeys

Cons: Having to step outside the sleeping unit to get to the kitchen.....It's probably due to the gas stove but I wish the two could be connected somehow. The kitchen can also do with more kitchen equipment, there was one pot ,a frying pan, a broken kitchen knife and old napkins. The massage was good but I feel the treatments were cramped together ....i.e doing the foot treatment and lifting one's legs to the basin while lying on the bed was very uncomfortable.

Peaceful, adventurous and a well natured place.

37th Anniversary Celebration

Pros: Trees surrounding our cottage and the room was amazing exactly as shown. Our dialy visits from donkeys they are so adorable. We stay in The Plantation Cottage and we loved every minute together a well spent 37th Anniversary celebration.

Cons: Leaving.

Blissful, tranquil, relaxing…..just what the doctor ordered.

Pros: Absolutely LOVED our stay. Here are some of the reasons we enjoyed it so much: Private outdoor relaxation area, complimentary sherry on arrival, decor, separate kitchen area, shower pressure on both inside and outside shower was really good, the bed was very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the animals on the property. Unfortunately no time to use the spa facilities, but hope to visit again and take advantage of spa treatments on offer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Iris Retreat!!!
