Good to visit the Kruger national park

Pros: Close to the Kruger national park (20 minutes to drive). We booked a safari over the accomodation (around 1800 ZAR) which was really great. The room was small but clean.

Cons: We had quite some problems with the payment before, which lead to some misunderstandings. For me the contact was too much, other accomodations need almost no details and information in advance!

It's an amazing place with great staff that took great care of us. The breakfast was so worth it.

Pros: The place is beautiful. The rooms were clean and we had everything we needed.

Cons: The aircon switched itself off during the night and this made sleeping through the night a bit difficult.

Pros: Friendly check in, everything worked fine Only glitch was geyser timers worked against us on room 8, had cold water after one shower

Cons: Room 8 had a smokers room smell 👎

Pros: Incredible staff and owner. Greeted us in the best possible way when we arrived late from our trip to Kruger. Very spacious and cozy houses. The communal facilities also looked very nice and clean.

Our second time staying here was as comfortable and enjoyable as our first visit.

Pros: Very comfortable, spacious house in really beautiful gardens. Housekeeping was excellent, as was the breakfast. Convenient for the shops and restaurant, and only ten minutes from Kruger. The price is low for accommodation of such a high standard.

Cons: Having the livingroom and fridge upstairs and the water downstairs could be a little difficult for people who are bothered by stairs. It was not a problem for us.

Pros: I liked everything, very clean, safe and next to the shopping mall. I wish to visit again

Pros: We had a nice stay at the lodge. But we would have liked to know more about the area or dinner options.

Cons: They should either provide a microwave or included breakfast for the nice suite.

Pros: For 6 adults this was a perfect accommodation. Big bedrooms with big kitchen and lounge. Good WiFi with DSTV. All staff were excellent and always willing to assist at any time, day or night. Kikki must be mentioned for excellent service. Location is very good. Close to the shopping mall and Phabeni Gate at Kruger National Park. I highly recommend this Shingalana Guest Lodge.

Cons: They do have little plumbing issues. The hot water got finished after just 3 people took a shower. The staff did offer the use of the other unit's shower. A little inconvenient.

Good guest house for a work trip to Hazyview

Pros: The aircon worked well and the room was well appointed and clean. Plenty of plug points for working laptops and charging phones. Lots of off-street parking and good security. Initially there was a problem with the hot water in my room but as soon as I provided feedback, the host moved me to another room - thank you!

Cons: I would have liked to have a complimentary bottle of drinking water in the fridge. My unit had a self-catering kitchenette - there was no sharp knife for cutting bread/fruit/vegetables ... only a knife and fork to eat with. Make sure you bring your mosquito repellent!
