Would HIGHLY recommend starting here if you are wanting to stay within the Johannesburg district!

Pros: Very secure and quiet. Very tastefully decorated and very comfortable beds. Very well equipped kitchen for self catering and filtered water is supplied which was appreciated. Tea & coffee facilities appreciated! Our host was very friendly and helpful with any of our questions. After a day of touring Johannesburg, we arrived home in a hail storm. Our hosts were very caring and invited us into their home to shelter us. In fact, we were planning on staying a night at a airport hotel on the way back from Kruger to fly to Zimbabwe (the next day) but decided it was more pleasant AND cheaper to get a Uber back to Lavendar Villa and another back to the airport the next day instead!

Cons: It would have been helpful to have some shampoo and conditioner available (even just a small amount)

Pros: We loved everything about our stay! The apartment is beautifully and tastefully furnished — we truly felt at home after a long journey. The beds are very comfortable, with soft pillows and warm blankets. Everything was prepared to the highest standard. The property is well secured, which made us feel safe and relaxed. A big thank you to the host, who was always available and ready to help 24/7. We highly recommend this place!

Pros: A well thought out and extremely comfortable unit. Good quality bedding, furnishings, crockery and cutlery. Comfortable bed, lovely big bath and shower. Great outdoors area, I would definitely recommend staying there.
