Pros: The staff were very friendly, there was a booking mishap with booking.com, but the staff were very helpful and accommodating and assisted us. Lovely, clean chalets, good places for the kids to play Overall a very positive experience at Komati River Chalets.

Cons: The wheelchair friendly cottage still needed a mobile ramp to access, it will be helpful if this is less of a step into the cottage.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay

Pros: The location is very good for access to the Kruger National Park, fishing birding and golf. The property is well kept is neat and tidy with very pleasant and helpful staff.

Cons: The rooms are now getting dated, and I believe need to be updated, particularly the bathroom where the shower is integrated with the bath. In most instances I believe a shower only would suffice. The braai facility is old and starting to fall apart and needs renewing

Pros: I liked the whole location of this place, listening to bird sound was my favorite and going to sit by the river..

Lovely setting next to the river

Pros: It’s such a perfect spot to overnight when travelling to Mozambique. We didn’t explore all there was to offer, but had a fantastic sleep after a long day of travelling.

Unforgettable stay at Komatie River Chalets

Pros: From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The riverside setting is serene and breathtaking, and the chalets are cozy, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. Craig at reception was incredibly welcoming, and another gentleman (so sorry I can’t remember his name!) went out of his way to help us throughout our stay.

Can't really comment as we got there late and left again at 5pm.

Pros: We Didn't eat breakfast. Just a sleep over on our way to Mozambique.

Cons: Happy with the overall experience.

Nice unit, nice grounds, restaurant reasonably priced for the selection offered

Pros: The openness of the gardens and the river. Chef's food is good.

Cons: Some of the rooms are in need of a bit of repair but not to the point it's unlivable.
