Van de Poll House exceeded our expectations — a spacious, spotless old home

Pros: We stayed for one night with four friends and Van de Poll House truly exceeded our expectations. Although it’s an older house, it’s incredibly spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The owners have really thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. We would highly recommend it and will definitely be back — next time for a longer stay!

We had a lovely time and this is our preferred place in Dullstroom. It suits our needs perfectly

Pros: The house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It caters well for larger groups, the beds are very comfortable and it is great that each room has a private bathroom. the proximity to the main centre is a real advantage.

A home away from home

Pros: We felt right at home in this lovely, spachouse with its old-time grace and beautiful garden. Everything you may need is there, from umbrellas and warm blankets to books, games and puzzles. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would love to come again.

Great!

Pros: We LOVED the beds!! 3 minutes walking from locoal pub. Very clean. Hosts were very friendly over the chat. It felt safe with the gate that opens and closes.

Cons: We didnt have hot water the entire morning but still we were able to all get a warm shower so no big deal

Pros: The house was very clean and the decor was all in good taste. It reminded me of what living in the 40's would have been.

Cons: I think there should been coffee/tea and sugar supplied, as well as fire lighters and matches sothat the fire could be lite without struggling.
