Nghala Self-catering Holiday Home

A blissful once in a lifetime family escape to the bushveld.

Pros: I made this booking on behalf of my sister Sharon and luckily she invited my husband and I to join the group. The home provided ample accomodation for our family of 10. It was a short walk to the river and about a 20 minute drive to Crocodile Bridge gate. The deck overlooks unspoilt bush teaming with small creatures, and larger animals such as zebra, giraffe, various buck and even a family of warthog, are often passing by. We were charmed by the antics of the different mongoose family characters in the early mornings and the cute little bush babies at night. There were always lots of birds hovering in the trees as well. We loved cooling off in the splash pool and lounging on the deck chairs.

Cons: Unfortunately there was a general power failure in the area, but that was beyond the establishment's control.

Paradise in Africa

Pros: The location is fantastic, the house is very confortable, full equiped, good wifi The loction of swiming pool does not have sun enought to warm up.

Pros: House was clean and sorted on arrival. Had a good stay and lovely views of nature was a walk away.

Cons: The deck needs some care certain parts we stepped dipped in a lot. Some nails sticking out.

Pros: The property was very well kept and comfortable. The area has animals roaming around with zebra, warthog and giraffe coming right up to the deck. Very relaxing environment. With all the recent rains in the area the roads within Marloth Park leading to the property have had quite a bit of rain damage as they are gravel roads. For info please note that a breakage deposit of R2500 is payable in advance which is not mentioned on their profile page. This is refunded about a week after your stay if no breakages are noted.

Pros: Location is exceptional with daily visits from Giraffes, Kudu, mongoose, impala, zebra, bush babies and so much more. Villa, nice and clean. Security is excellent, I pressed the panic button by mistake and the security arrive promptly. Host communication was also 10/10, Debbie was always on hand to help or advise,

Cons: Too many common sense house rules written on big signs all around the outside and inside of the property, this made the stay a bit like staying in a teenage hostel. As International booker I had to find someone with a South African account to make a security deposit. International travellers would also benefit from a washing machine and having the option of pool towels and good quality ladies hairdryers in each bedroom. But apart from the things I just mentioned our overall experience was good and the animals were spectacular and having stayed in Marloth park several times before I can say that this is one of the best locations to see the animals.

Pros: Is 12/10 acceptable. what an amazing holiday we just had. the destination of this property in marloth is perfect - on the river bordering kruger park but hidden from the cars/dust/viewers on the river road. the property nghala has everything you need. like everything ( i guess it’s catered for tourists who fly in) for us south africans even potjie pots. genuine the house is catered and ready properly. the patio/lapa/ entertainment area outside is perfect, just view the pics. to sum it up - destination of this property in marloth park is the best. utilities in the house everything is there. outside pool braai/bbq , fire pit is so well placed/ designed. really great choice for a whole house accommodation. great stay thanks.

Pros: The boma area is a great space. The splash was a big plus expecially in the summer heat

Pros: Well looked after and great location, the house was beautiful and I would definitely bring me and my family for another visit.

A lovely holiday home in Marloth Park.

Pros: Everything about the holiday home met my expectations and we were fortunate to see a wide variety of animals from the comfort of the boma. Debbie was very helpful in facilitating the booking and addressing any queries I had.
