What an awesome host and lovely place! With wonderful fresh mountain water! Straight from the tap!

Pros: What a lovely gem, and what an awesome host. We had a late check-in so the stay was brief, but we thoroughly enjoyed the open and tidy feel. Didn’t really get to appreciate the views when we arrived but the next morning we were surprised by rural setting and off course the dam. Right up my street. Can highly recommend this gem. We even got to meet a tame jackal :-)

Pros: breakfast was awesome, - please tell me where I can buy some of that Coffee - what is the brand? Would give my left ball for a cup of that coffee right about now!

A Hidden Gem!

Pros: Lizzy and Mike are honestly so incredible! This was our second visit here and we loved both times! The hospitality was on par with the best in the world. Friendly, welcoming, loving, attentive. Everything was comfortable, neat and tidy. A note to future visitors; bring an extra (fluffy) blanket or two - there is a nice sized deck, comfortably seating (laying) two. Amazing for star gazing. The dogs are a delight. Friendly. Warm. Quiet. The food was incredible (not to mention the beer). Both Lizzy and Mike truly have a passion for food; they take great pride in it, and so they should! The room, and the property is peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views. I’m jealous of whoever stays there next. Thank you Lizzy and Mike, from the bottom of our hearts. Till we meet again.

Wonderfull weekend away

Pros: Mike and Lizzy were very friendly, and we enjoyed their company. Room was clean, refreshing cool, and we slept like babies.

Cons: Couch on Stoep can be replaced. It is a beautiful view over the lake from Pappas front stoep, but the furniture does not provide the urge to enjoy the view at all.

Excellent long weekend

Pros: The views...the food...and the host was exceptional.Mike is a great and engaging and interesting host...loved the chats.The view over the dam was fantastic....was all in all a great long weekend

Pros: Great deal, the view from our place was really nice, the owner was very accommodating, great value for the stay with a nice restaurant. Would definitely recommend it.
