Pros: 1. It’s so quiet and we could sleep peacefully at nights, we could also walk around the property at the mountain and dam. 2. There was no power in the area and we couldn’t even realise it, the inverter and gas took care of us very well.

Cons: I didn’t like long unpaved road from the entrance

Pros: Liked the fact that it felt like a home away from home, it's tranquil and offers good amenities. My 7 year old couldn't use the splash pool last time due to cold weather, but she thoroughly enjoyed it this time around. Hosts were accomodating of our needs and requests and we are greatful for that kind of flexibility!

Pros: The property was beautiful with a wonderful view of the lake and in warmer weather the deck and pool would have been well used. The house is well furnished, a fully equipped kitchen which is rare. and excellent wifi . Overall no faults we would definitely come again it is out of town so come prepared which we did.

Cons: Really nothing to complain. Just a note it was an exceptionally cold weekend and lots of throws were to hands but no form of heating so hot water bottles or panel heaters would make it perfect . We did bring wood with so used the fireplace in the lounge and had lovely log fires burning

I wanted to get away to unwind and this was exactly the place to go.

Pros: The property was lovely. It has a very vintage and natural aesthetic to it and the view MY WORD, breath taking. It’s in the middle of a tropical rain forest and the green settings and onsite wildlife will make you feel like a tourist in your home country. I most liked that the kitchen was fully equipped. There are more towels than one can use. There are activity and restaurant recommendations stacked into a cute little box on the living room table. The outside seating area is perfect for morning breakfast or a family braai. There’s a beautiful beginner friendly hiking train on this property that leads you to an absolutely serene lake. I sat there for an hour just taking it all in while being visited by all sorts of wildlife, but I’ve nothing unsafe .

Cons: Everything was perfect. I mean there was swimming towels provided separately to showering towels. Cute lil blankets for outside chilling. The thought and detail that was put into this is amazing. I would have liked if there was a few food related provisions like salt, sugar, milk and oil. I forgot all about these which made my first morning a little less ideal. Also check the weather before making a booking. We couldn’t take advantage of the private pool because it was raining all weekend. And this is a rain forest after all.

Cons: There were a few tiny little snags. The gas braai had a few burners that didn't work and the DSTV was not activated. Saying that, these were not big enough issues to complain about as we enjoyed the stay either way
