My family enjoyed it very much, my children enjoyed the pool and taking walks in the area.
Pros: The rooms where very comfortable, the pool was amazing and cleaned every day. My children enjoyed playing in and around the property
Cons: Nothing really, but the pool was chilly on some of the days but that was due to the weather

Ideal Location for Kruger
Pros: The resort grounds are very good & with the thatched properties it's very picturesque. The location is very safe, ideally situated for access to Kruger & local shops & restaurants. There were a few issues when we arrived & when notified to Joey he helped to get them resolved the same day.
Cons: The issues mentioned were the air conditioning remote control didn't work, the wrong key for the bedroom door was in the lock, which was open & couldn't close, there was a strong odour from the second bathroom. Joey helped get these resolved immediately, but the odour returned after a couple of days which the cleaner tried to keep under control with limited success. Fortunately there was just the two of us, so not much of an impact. The home, like a lot of others in the resort, is due for a refresh, as the furnishings are a little old, there are cracked tiles, etc. A few basic items e.g. salt & pepper, wash sponge etc would be a big help for overseas travellers.

A fantastic place to stay.
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was on a secure and well kept 'resort' with the added bonus of a hippo pool and various wild animals strolling around. So lovely to see monkeys on the lawn in the morning and nyalas when we arrived back. The property was large with a lovely pool (chilly due to it being Spring!), deck and garden near a lake. All the furnishings were comfortable and stylish. It was very useful having a restaurant and laundry on site and it was only a very short drive into town for the supermarket, petrol and other good restaurants. The Phabeni gate for Kruger is only 15 mins away and we did 2 amazing self drive safari drives here. We also saw the many beautiful places on the nearby Panorama Route.
Cons: As the property is for holidaymakers it would have been nice to have a 'welcome pack' provided by the owner with recommendations of restaurants, places to go etc. Whilst we all do online research these days, there's nothing like local knowledge. Also, as international visitors, we couldn't bring various food essentials such as condiments, so it would be nice to provide a few things like salt and pepper! Extra lighting in the kitchen would have been welcome too.

Great base for exploring Kruger and Panorama Route – comfortable and relaxing stay
Pros: Great central location in Hazyview: close to Phabeni Gate (11 km), the Panorama Route, Sabie River, and other attractions. Easy to reach from Johannesburg—about a 400 km drive mostly on highway. Spacious, clean house with two large bedrooms, a comfortable living area, and a well-equipped kitchen (including dishwasher and dryer). Lovely outdoor area with private pool (not heated) and a braai. Beds were comfortable and the house was well-maintained. The resort has a relaxed atmosphere with wildlife like impalas, vervet monkeys, a Nile monitor lizard, and even a hippo pond—fun to see and no trouble from them. A peaceful setting, ideal for relaxing after days in the bush. Pleasant walk (750m) to the central reception and restaurant. Good communication with the host Joey via Booking.com and WhatsApp. The WiFi worked, you did need to logon everyday. but i worked well.
Cons: Payment had to be made directly with booking.com), and there was no free cancellation period. No washing machine for clothes—could be a downside if you're on a longer trip. No streetlights on the path to the central area—bring a flashlight if walking at night. Not a problem for us, but if you’re not into golf, the resort’s golf focus might not add much to your stay.

Fantastic & relaxing stay close to Kruger
Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was well equipped, beds were comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful and exceptionally friendly. The pool was cleaned daily, easily accessible to local shops, Hazyview junction had everything we needed. The onsite restaurant was fantastic, food and service. The amenities and onsite activities offer something for everyone (including teenagers). You wake up to find gorgeous animals walking around. We arranged a guided tour through Kruger park and were collected and dropped back off at our unit, which made everything stress-free. Conveniently located 30 minutes from the Panorama Route which meant we could spend 2 days exploring the Panorama Route and still enjoy our stay. It’s great for families. Would definitely recommend and will return on our next travels.
