Pros: Th views, it was very well equipped. The pool was clean and warm.

Cons: Nothing except little things such is the bedding were a little bit thick for summer. And we missed complementary tea. But everything is amazing !!! Beautiful house, clean and comfortable.

Fantastic 4 day family trip !

Pros: We loved the outside patio and pool area where we watched wildlife( elephants , waterbuck , wildebeest etc) while swimming and braaiing . The air conditioners in the house were more than adequate to keep the house cool .

Cons: The reserve penalty system for exceeding the speed limit is excessive and seems to be a big revenue stream for them, so make sure you do not go 1km/h over the speed limit as they will charge you excessively.

Pros: The location of the unit, which is by a stream that is frequented by all sorts of animals including elephants, giraffes and large antelope. The unit is spacious, very well equipped and meets with all your self catering needs. It is also very comfortable and nicely furnished. It was clean and the air condition was a welcome relief from the heat outside. Owner kept in contact and notified me of events pertaining to the area. Her instructions were clear enough and helpful.

A perfectly peaceful and restful holiday - relaxing, supremely comfortable, light and airy.

Pros: The location is excellent, with a great view and daily movement of buck, elephant, giraffe and other. Bird sightings were good too. How many places can you sit in a pool and watch the game pass by? The house is light, spacious, well equipped. It's airy and clean... on some days we did not need to venture out at all - just sat on the wide cool patio. It's also wheelchair friendly, with easy access to the shower (one small step). It felt like home - loved every minute and every day of our stay. Highly recommend it. We hope to be back some day.

Cons: When we booked, we did not know that there was no self-drive option in Mjejane - game drives were an additional cost that I had not factored in. Fortunately, it's really close to the Kruger.

Pros: The location of the property is superb and the house itself is beautiful. It has everything you need and more for a very comfortable stay in the bush. Booking was simple and the service and ongoing support during our stay was excellent. Treat yourself to a game drive with Special he was punctual, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour👍😊

Cons: There is nothing to dislike about the property or our stay, it was superb!

A peaceful place in an very unique game reserve

Pros: Barn Owl is a very special place to relax. The bedrooms are nicely decorated with very comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped.The splash pool is a great area to drink sundowners and to cool off. We will definitely recommend Barn Owl to everyone that needs a break in the bush. Good value for your money.
