Pros: The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. I enjoyed their breakfast

Cons: The outside shower doesn’t seem private enough.. perhaps I was not comfortable

It was a marvellous experience for me and my wife, a love nest to recharge our marriage.

Pros: The location, design of their rooms, the outside view of nature and waking up looking at nature and the melody of birds and animals on your doorstep and the staff warm hearts and friendliness is so welcoming to make someone feel at home.

Cons: It will take me a century to look for it, in a nutshell I LIKED EVERYTHING.

Pros: The staff’s services are very good. Before coming here, I was a bit nervous because it was a solo trip and I had never been to South Africa. But it turned into an amazing experience. I even got sick, but they gave me positive energy and support. The food is also amazing. I would love to come visit again!

Pros: security (gated residence) Very professional staff managers helped us with so many information green belt surrounding the residence making it possible to see wild animals (herbivores)

Cons: nothing to mention, for the price you pay you get a really good value.

Pros: Etnika is remarkable and we don’t have enough superlatives to express how special it is after our week long stay. Etnika is a stunning 4 room lodge, but it is the wonderful staff and owners that make it extra special. From the moment we arrived we were spoilt by a level of service, hospitality and genuine friendliness that is a rare find. The food cooked by Vusi is exceptional, top level restaurant quality and was a highlight of every day. Situated on a wildlife reserve it was a wonderful sight to see the animals roam past our beautiful room. Huge shout out to Rodney, Floyd and Vusi and the owners Sara and Lyle. What a place and what a time we had. Thank you

A peaceful and stylish getaway surrounded by nature — the perfect place to relax and recharge.

Pros: We had such a great time at Etnika Manor House! The place is absolutely stunning — modern, stylish, and surrounded by nature. You really feel like you’re in the middle of the bush but still have all the comforts you could want. Our room was super comfortable, with lots of thoughtful touches and a lovely outdoor shower. Sitting on the patio in the evenings, listening to the sounds of the bush, was honestly one of our favorite parts. The hosts were amazing — so friendly and helpful with tips about where to eat and what to do around Hoedspruit. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the whole place just has this calm, relaxed vibe that makes you slow down and enjoy the moment. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful spot to unwind (especially as a couple), this is it. We’d 100% stay here again!

Cons: It would be even better if they added a big mirror for a full-body view!

Memorable and very special

Pros: Clean, safe, everything well maintained, managed and organised . Their staff especially Rodney and floyd made our stay memorable, went on my birthday and they went out of their way to add a special touch , ready to offer a helping hand away with a smile! Not to forget chef Vusi ,Dinner was very yummy!!!

Cons: Although their interior decor is very beautiful a full size body mirror would be a great addition
