Pros: I really enjoyed the calm and natural setting of the property. The views were stunning, the accommodation was stunning, and Nthabi was very welcoming. It felt relaxing and well taken care of.

Cons: There was absolutely nothing to not like, just the little things like spider webs here and there and spiders crawling on you at night, it’s the wilderness after all

Spectacular?!!

Pros: Everything is so stunning, honestly thee most beautiful place in the Waterberg area. I would definitely go back. In terms of the waiting stuff we were assisted by Nicholas during our stay, and we were well taken care of, when I was under the weather he would make sure to get me some hot water with honey and ginger. The place is truly beautiful and pictures don’t do it justice. The food was simply outstanding, the day we left there was a new chef and I must say they set the bar even higher.

Cons: There was some mixed communication in relation to where to meet up with lodge representatives, which resulted in about a 45minute delay and driving in some horrible conditions.

A weekend well spent

Pros: The setting of the lodge is breathtaking. It was a lovely experience for my wife and I. Our room was overlooking two waterfalls and the sounds were soothing and relaxing. The food was amazing and we were happy with the portions. Our guide was knowledgeable and made our game drives engaging and exciting. An overall good experience and will definitely come back.

Cons: The fact that I arranged a secret Engagement and booked a wine cellar just to get there and it was doubled booked. This after I have followed up telephonically and confirmed everything. I paid for champagne and had to ask for it, it was not even noted as per the booking consultant as was promised.

Pros: Property was close to the gate where we parked. Usually takes 40 minutes in the game viewing vehicle to get to the other lodges. It took around 10 minutes and roads are in better condition. Lodge was not overcrowded. Lots of privacy to appreciate the natural surroundings in your own time. The rooms were better than expected. Staff were courteous and eager to make our stay better. Food was excellent and we could not have asked for more. Got to see the big 5 thanks to our guide Janelle. Hot water bottles and ponchos for the morning game drives was a nice touch.
