Family break at Kruger Park Lodge

Pros: The house is well provisioned with every gadget going. 2 dishwashers, also nice washing machine and dryer. The house is very comfortable with loads of space. Does make you feel like you're getting away from it all.

Cons: No complaints - but useful suggestions going forward. Various of the fittings are requiring attention, the water switches for the main bedroom shower shoot out of their socket when being operated. Some of the door handle fittings are deteriorating with use. Bath mats with the cold cement floors in the bathrooms would be useful. Main track door has problems staying on its track. Would be useful to have some stickers on the glass doors, as you can easily walk into the clear glass doors when looking into the house or garden on entry or exit (don't ask me why I have a thick lip 😉). There are no bedside tables if you want to relax and have a cup of coffee in bed. The lounge while lit with mood lighting, some added lighting over the dining table would be useful when eating. Since we had no instructions on how to use any of the appliances, such as the dishwashers, oven and microwave, I believe a simplified book on how various things in the house work would be very useful for quick introductions as to how to make the house work. Lots of remotes lying around, but no indication what remote operates what. Some remotes seem to have flat batteries (that's assuming we had the right remote for the correct appliance).

So relaxed and will definitely be back!

Pros: The house was exceeded our expectations, the location was perfect as we had paddle down the road , supermarkets and game drives all close by and the security was a priority and it made our stay more relaxed !

Cons: Nothing to complain about as the pics on the booking app was exactly what the villa looked like

Pros: The house is very spacious and furnished with high quality furniture. As much as the group stayed and lived together everyone also had their own privacy when so desired.

Cons: No clear instructions was received on where to collect the keys. Even after we requested late check in, on arrival no one knew of our arrival, so we had to wait 2 hours to get access to the house after traveling.

Fabulous property in a wonderful location. Close to both the Kruger and facilities in town.

Pros: Excellent property, great location. Well organised with a host to meet on arrival and explain the various aspects of the property. The property is light, spacious and airy and works well as a family home with a great pool to keep the kids happy in. You are in the bush with plains game around but nothing that will create a problem for your family.

Cons: Very little not to like; the only area that could do with improvement was the availability of adequate bed linen and pillows. If you needed two pillows per bed with corresponding pillow cases, you’d be short. There were also no pillow protectors or undersheets, which isn’t ideal when multiple rotating guests are using the beds and pillows. These areas were mentioned to the owner on departure who was keen to address any issues, so I suspect they will have been rectified prior to your visit.

Pros: The views from every single room were magnificent, clean and very well equipped.Just the perfect place to rest and make memories with your family.

Fantastic Villa Experience

Pros: The layout, the spacious accommodation, the Aircon, the view, the pool, the solar power during loadshedding, the appliances and technology in the house. Conveniently located. Great game drives. Excellent walks. Peaceful. We would easily come back here.

Cons: Tiny freezer space meant we had to keep going into town for ice each day and battled with freezing space for meat... But we worked around it quite successfully. A light at the open braai area would be a good idea. We had our own so it wasn't too much of an issue. However, it wouldn't stop us coming back here. It is a beautiful place and Johan is extremely helpful.

Pros: The facility...interior and exterior 👌exceptional. Very cozy and functional. Service is great, always available to cater to your needs. I'm definitely coming back again

Cons: You can improve on cleaness...

Pros: Tolle Unterkunft. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit. Leider fehlt ein Sonnenschirm. Der ist doch wichtiger als gedacht. Sonst war alles fantastisch

Een aanrader, ook voor een volgende keer!

Pros: Het spontane belletje van de enthousiaste eigenaar met wat tips en trics over de omgeving. Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien. Bedden uitstekend. Vanuit de tuin kon je regelmatig wild spotten. Ook handig dat je op je eigen moment. De giraffes kun je vanuit het zwembad zien.

Cons: Eigenlijk helemaal niets, hoewel we de hyena's en de luipaardachtigen niet hebben gespot, maar misschien hebben we niet goed genoeg gekeken ;-)

Pros: Peaceful and tranquil setting. Great for families wanting a break.
