Nomads Den Safari Villas - Heated Pools and Riverbed views

Great time away, absolutely great value and great hosts.

Pros: The tour of the place at the beginning was a good touch with someone available on arrival. The place is well stocked and inviting for a relaxing time at the Den. Hosts were extremely friendly, quick to respond and happy to help where possible. Animal viewings in the morning were unexpected treat!

Cons: If this is the worst of it, then it's not too bad. But heads-up, there is a nice wine fridge which it would have been nice to know about ahead of time or even have had some available for purchase.

Pros: Everything was amazing, absolutely nothing to complain about!

Pros: We had a truly fantastic stay at The Nomads Den. The hosts were incredibly warm, responsive, and accommodating throughout our visit. One of the highlights for my kids was watching the game by the watering hole—they absolutely loved it. We also spotted quite a bit of wildlife around the house, which made the experience even more special. The surroundings were breathtakingly scenic and so peaceful. It was such a beautiful getaway, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Pros: Stunning location, beautifully appointed property. Best location within the wildlife preserve. Owners excellent communicators and very happy to assist with anything, they helped us organize our trip with many details from hire car to safari outings.

Fantastic stay, close to nature

Pros: This is a great place if you are looking for peace and quiet surrounded by nature. We loved spending time at the back of the house just watching animals passing by. We had a pleasure to see zebras, giraffes, antelopes, mongoose, warthog, birds etc. The place is a short drive from Hoedspruit in a fenced estate. We booked our stay with breakfast. It's worth mentioning that the host brings breakfast ingredients in the morning around 8:30 as and when agreed; in our case it was on day 1 and 4, but you can decide as you please. You will need to prep food yourself. You can also book your stay without breakfast. The villa is spacious and comfortable. There is a washing machine, it is filled with detergent, so no need to bring your own.

Cons: I would suggest only one improvement which is mosquito nets.

Pros: Exquisite 2-bed luxury facility providing privacy whilst embracing the natural surroundings. Great setting for a romantic escape, weekend getaway with friends. Provides a balance between work and vacation (workation) if you are working from home but also want to have a vacation at the same time. Great internet facilities and overall luxury decor with attention to the finest detail.

Pros: The location of Nomads Den is excellent, situated right on a riverbed. Very private. The first giraffe was waiting for us when we got there.

Cons: It was extremely hot in Hoedspruit during one day, but the AC and pool solved that quickly

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt im Busch

Pros: Die Unterkunft ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit allem Komfort, sehr hochwertig, auch hervorragende Mückengitter, schöner Außenbeleuchtung und unfassbar schöner Lage mitten im Wildlifereservat. Alles war perfekt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist aber die fürsorgliche, reaktionsschnelle und überaus freundliche Atmosphäre durch die Vermieter. Pim war immer ansprechbar, gab gute Tips und war immer aufmerksam. So schenkte er uns 2 einstündige Massagen, weil an einem Tag etwas Baulärm war, oder verschob unsere Safari weil es regnete. Wir können diesen Gastgeber und seine wunderbaren Villen nur weiterempfehlen. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt voller Ruhe und Entspannung . Wir danken Pim sehr für Seine Gastfreundschaft.
