The Lofts @ Ivy Lane

Pros: The host was very considerate for calling us to make sure we made our way safely. The treats set up for your first day were most welcome and truly made us feel special and welcome. The house has new appliances and everything was clean and in its place. I love nice smelling areas and the bathroom was outstanding in this regards ☺️☺️

Pros: Location was excellent. Clean. big fridge. Lots of blankets and duvet. Lots of little extra touches.

Cons: Steep stairs to access property. Fire place was a nice touch but the wood didn't burn only smouldered. I think the flue needs seeing to.

1 Night stay

Pros: Special gifts, clean & modern loft. The bed slept amazing.

Cons: Wet wood used in fireplace caused excessive smoke.

Pros: The breakfast was great, loved attention to detail that make the stay more comfortable (milk in the fridge, blankets etc).

Cons: A bit noisy in the morning because you can hear people speaking when they open the shops,

Our Stay as good, apart from having to switch units due to the one we wanted not being available.

Pros: We enjoyed the space, it was clean and the bed was cosy. The Host was helpful in fixing the unit mix-up and offered us to pick from another one, and gave us complimentary breakfast vouchers to say sorry.

Cons: The communication from the property owner/host in terms of informing us about any changes or the unavailability of the unit we wanted.

Great value for money.

Pros: Very well located. Well furnished. Very clean and modern. The host was very approachable and friendly. Check in was contactless, easy and quick. Communication was great throughout.

Cons: There really was no issues.

A very good choice when visiting Dullstroom!!

Pros: The apartment is extremely modern and has all of the facilities you could ever need!

Cons: The wooden floors made a lot of noise, and the walls were very thin! Our room seemed to be surrounded on all sides by noise. There was a restaurants kitchen under us and during the day/evening you can hear the kitchen staff as well as a bunch of other shops as if they were right in the next room.

Charming

Pros: Great location, comfy and cosy, really close to lots of shops, pubs and restaurants. Lovely breakfast at nearby restaurant too. The owners really want you to have a good time.

Cons: The squeaky floorboards are very loud! The check in process was also a little chaotic as we didn't have a local SA mobile number when we booked, so some thought needs to be given to how the owners communicate with international tourists to inform them of the check in process etc

Pros: Exceptional, clean, and perfect location. The staff went the extra mile.

Cons: Very firm mattress.

Pros: Very Clean, perfect Location, spacious. The Host Suzanne was very hands on and we appreciated the special treats and thoughtful gestures throughout the apartment.

Cons: The next door neighbours was very loud coming in late in the evening. We could hear everything going on next door.
