Exceptional stay – world-class comfort with a personal touch

Pros: We travel the world, and this is one of the best places we’ve stayed. It offers real luxury but still has a warm, homely feeling that makes you feel instantly comfortable. The host was very friendly and welcoming, with amazing attention to detail in every aspect of the stay. The location is excellent — convenient yet peaceful. Excellent value for money if you take all of the above into account. Highly recommended!

A Premium Accommodation Experience.

Pros: Very spacious, quiet, clean garden apartment with lounge area and well equiped kitchenette. Loved the complimentary sherry, fruit and chocolates, and toiletries. Lovely outdoor space and very secure. Excellent hostess.

Perfect location, close to varsity, schools and Loftus. Peaceful and most important CLEAN!

Pros: We loved the attention to detail - our host ensured the smallest detail was perfect (eg fresh milk in fridge, a small bowl of chocolates and fruit). It is all in the little details.

Practical and beautiful accommodation for both leisure and business travel

Pros: Location - quiet area but quick and easy access to all amenities Very practical for both leisure and business - hostess seems to have thought about everything. Whatever I needed was available. Beautiful, well manicured gardens - very refreshing for a quick outdoor stroll or personal quiet time. Friendly host and hostess, but not intrusive. This has certainly become my top pic in Pretoria.

Pros: Our hosts and staff were very welcoming and helpful. So glad I found Hummingbird as it is tranquil and felt like a little oasis! Patio and flowers were delightful. Furnishings and facilities were homely and very comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Pros: The location is very convenient. The environment is so beautiful with lots of green and the area is quiet with a relatively safe neighborhood. The owner couple is very kind.

Cons: The only shortage was a lack of laundry facilities.

Home away from home

Pros: Cheryl was a fantastic host and has great attention to detail. The cottage is absolutely stunning, surrounded by a beautiful garden in a safe and quiet suburb.
