It was nice and comfortable.

Pros: The room going out to the pool was great. The breakfast was exceptionally tasty. The dinner was also well prepared and we enjoyed it. The staff at the lodge were friendly and helpful. We went for our 33 yrs wedding anniversary and felt at home. Jack did a lot of effort with setting up a picnic table at the dam.

Cons: The game drive was not so great. We did not see a lot of game - only rooibokke, wilde beast and a few giraffes. The guide was young and inexperienced. It also felt like he was in a hurry to get the game drive over with. Said as much to someone else - he wanted to be back at 17:00. We did enjoy the picnic table, champagne and platter, but felt in a hurry. Would have been nice to see more game and to enjoy the sunset at the dam.

Overall this is a very good property and it is good value for money.

Pros: The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly. Also they respond very quickly if you have an issue.

Cons: 1. I couldn’t connect to wifi in my room. 2. There was no mobile network. 3. The gravel road leading up to the venue is very rough.

Pros: Sambane Lodge is very clean 👌 , the cocktails made by collen were very nice, I highly recommend their cocktails, Agnes was very friendly , our stay really felt like home.

Cons: The road There was very bad because it was raining but we managed.

Otherwise it was sucha great experience to be alone at a quite place for my 40th birthday I really.

Pros: Breakfast was great. Thank you to Maria and the other chef. I even got pap that evening. I am looking forward to bring the rest of my family...

Cons: There was some construction at the venue. I understand that it was to make the place look more prettier but it would have been nice if it happened when I was not around.

A beautiful hidden gem in Waterburg

Pros: The place is serene and comfortable, all places tastefully furnished in a rustic way. The sight of the animals, zebras, bucks etc at close range made our stay memorable. The staff was outstanding and gave us personal attention especially Andre. The breakfast ( free)and dinner were well priced and tasty

Cons: I think their pricing might be a bit of deterent considering the competition around the area- Specials for longer stay could a good marketing tool.
