The Hart House

Pros: Everything was good just the tv network problm bt all in all was good service

Very lovely enjoyed it alot, was nice and clean, easy check in and check out

Pros: Very nice location, easy to navigate to and easy check in, beautiful rooms, everything you need for a get away

Cons: Not in a mean way, but just as a point to look at, the main bedroom bathroom has an open plan shower, if you shower with the tap fully open, as one would, the drain doesnt drain fast enough (due to blockage maybe or something idk) but the water then flows out of the shower and heads directly into the rest of the bathroom possibly reaching the carpet at the walk in closet, luckily we caught it and could mop it back to the drain before it reached the carpet but ideally either the drain must be checked or maybe a little barrier placed to prevent it happening

It was a beautiful stay and a very clean place will definitely come back again

Pros: It’s close to the activities we were interested in

Cons: The sofas were uncomfortable

Tranquil, restful and peaceful.

Pros: It's a self catering unit. There was no breakfast included, but it's in an ideal location because there is a mall less than 3km's away from the guesthouse. So getting food and drinks and other supplies was a breeze. Also, there is a Wimpy restaurant, right next door, for those that require breakfast. We had a nice view of the mountain range and you are literary within 5km's of all of Harties finest and most popular attractions. Hartebeespoort Dam Wall, Little Paris and so forth.

Cons: Our unit didn't have an allocated garage but we did have a designated parking area. It would have just been better if we had a garage because when you check in, there isn't anyone there to meet you it's all done telephonically or via Whatsapp. It's not a bad thing, but sometimes it's always better to get instructions in person. On Saturday evening my partner and I were chilling in our unit with the door open, because it was evening, the light from our unit was shining and there was a gentleman who was just checking in and he was asking us for help. He wasn't sure where to collect the keys, where his unit was and how to access it. All of this brings me back to the garage issue for unit 2. Our car was parked outside and we drive a Polo, that's a high risk car and because we aren't met by anyone from Hart House, we knew that the gate would not have been locked or anything like that. This fact alone made it difficult for my partner to sleep soundly at night, even though the bed and room where cozy and very comfy. That being said, as much as the welcome and communication is done remotely, Penny is on top of it and stays on top of it and answers texts and phone calls as quick as humanly possible. The only other issue I had was the wifi, it worked on all devices but not on the TV in the room and because the TV is powered by a Xiaomi TV Drive. So, without wifi, it was good for nothing, but we were resourceful and hotspotted the the TV with our own data, we were able to watch TV but it chowed our data, lol, but it's okay. No hard feelings. Yes, so that was just the down side but everything else was excellent.

Definitely a go to stop again.

Pros: The area was safe, the room was clean and the other people using the accommodation were respectful. All in all the stay was great and I would definitely recommend the place and stay there again.

Cons: My minor complaint would be the speed of the wifi which wasn't the best and the fact that the tv apps didn't work but it's not the end of the world.

Pros: The property was well maintained, clean, and neat. It was very up to date and modern. We especially liked that it had air conditioning.

Pros: It's a very nice place, welcoming and closer to most attractions. It's a clean place both inside and outside, easily accessible. It's next door to Wimpy so food is closest

Cons: There was no room service and I had to clean for myself and I wasn't told that there will be no clean during my stay.

Pros: Loved everything about it , so cozy with free WI-FI

Our overall experience was satisfactory, great price for both units for 5 days.

Pros: All amenities were close by, easily accessible and friendly owner. Also loved that we could park our cars in a garage that was closed at night, gave us peace of mind.

Cons: One of the rooms had a bit of a funny smell, but it cleared by the second day.

We had a pleasant stay and we hope to visit again 😊

Pros: The location of the house is close to many attractions in the area. It's also very homey, we felt comfortable and we had privacy.

Cons: No shower cap in the bathroom.
