Everything was perfect except cleaning

Pros: The place is so peaceful and big this is the best I will defiantly use it again

Cons: The place it’s not that clean clean the housekeeper must clean properly we found spider web and o reporter it but still they didn’t remove.

Relaxed and Recharged

Pros: The location of the unit was superb, with the river flowing and privacy. The unit was spacious and comfortable and has all you need.

Cons: The roof was leaking in two of the 3 bedrooms directly above the beds, not severe or major as it also did rain quite heavily over the evening. Lighting could improve in the bedrooms.

We loved every moment in this clean, well equipped, and furnished house.

Pros: The location was perfect for shops and quick easy access to the Kruger national park. The airport was only an hour away from the lodge.

Cons: There was absolutely nothing that was off. The only thing that would have made it absolutely perfect was if the pool had been heated. But that is just a personal preference.

Very nice place to stay close to Kruger Park

Pros: Very clean, well equipped kitchen, nice swimming pool and outdoor seating area. Sound of the river additional bonus

Great, comfortable house. Agent communication was poor.

Pros: Fantastic house in a great resort location with lots of facilities to keep the kids happy. We didn’t use the restaurant. The property was comfortable and almost everything worked very well.

Cons: Communication from the agent managing the place was very poor (as other reviews have noted). To this day they haven’t replied to my questions on booking.com messaging service. It took 24 hours to get the WiFi password from them! There is no information booklet in the house that could have answered my questions (WiFi password, is the water potable and if so which tap as there were two in the kitchen sink). The agent was available by phone - with poor network - but non locals don’t usually buy an airtime sim (we bought a little for emergencies) so it’s not set up for non South Africa visitors. The agent also took a long time to respond to SMS messages. The agent needs to improve their communication offer and to provide a folder with key information in the house. The dishwasher was mouldy so we just washed by hand.

Pros: The setting was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home.The rooms were spotless, cozy, and well-designed, with great attention to detail. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable getaway. I’m already looking forward to my next visit

Cons: couldn’t work the hob and they could have cleaned the house a bit better
