Therapeutic. Felt like we were visiting family. warmth and love

Pros: Dinner and breakfast was super delicious, it felt like we are home away from home. Served with a smile and love.

Cons: There is nothing I would change. Cobus and Magdel were welcoming with warmth and love, it felt like I was visiting family. The stuff is very friendly and super helpful. The horse riders are super friendly and we laughed the whole way and had beautiful conversations.

Awesome place for retreating and recharging away from the hustle and bustle

Pros: The hosts were super-welcoming and staff very friendly. The idea of half board was excellent as we enjoyed breakfast and supper, especially prepared by head chef. The food was scrum-dili-yummy-yummy, with a touch of variety every day. It was home away from home.

Cons: The dogs in the dining area when we were eating

Pros: Very spacious and clean rooms. The host very friendly. Mag looked after us very well. We had a good time at her place.

Pros: Very cozy. Old charm about it. Loads of animals on the farm. The hosts were very accommodating and super friendly. Very homey feel about the place. Rooms were cleaned daily. The meals were so heartwarming, just what was needed to help warm up.

Cons: Could have had a tv in the room but if you're trying to get away for a really quiet weekend...I guess you won't mind.

You are one with nature in a tranquil environment, surrounded by warmth from the people and hugs from the food.

Pros: It’s serene and clean, you feel closer to nature with the animals around. The people are friendly and welcoming.There a giraffe, the horses, and the friendly dogs. The peaceful sounds of the river once you go down the pathway . Oh not to forget the food … earth in all the plates .

Cons: Nothing.

Overall this was a wonderful getaway, and we look forward to visiting again.

Pros: Thandile Country Lodge turned out to be a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of life. We were able to escape to a space where the sounds of flowing water, the lush greenery, and the friendly animals (especially the captivating giraffe) drew us away from the everyday stress of life. Cobus and Magdel are incredible hosts, who paid close attention to our dietary requirements, spoiled us with hearty and delicious meals, and ensured that we were comfortable throughout our stay. These wonderful humans are truly the heart and soul of this incredible establishment.

Pros: The peacefulness of the farm. We enjoyed walking around on the property. The owners of the Lodge is kind. The food was tasty, highly recommend taking the dinner option as well.

Pros: We had an awesome Wedding Anniversary Weekend at Thandile Country Lodge. To our hosts Magdel and Cobus Daniel , thanks for spoiling us with such lovely meals. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a quick breakaway. 🙏🏻💖😀

Beyond superb / higly recommended

Pros: Cobus and Magdel are the most amazing hosts. This property should be on everyone's nr 1 places to visit. Warm. Sincere. friendly -amazing wildlife.. excellent food, superb comfort.. Beautiful African wildlife and horses on your doorstep. Highly recommended

Lovely romantic country farm for the whole family.

Pros: A lovely place with beautifull views and a lot of peace for your mind. Escape to the country. Romantic rooms. Hiking, horseriding, mountainbiking, Fishing or just relax in the big garden and Watch all the animals like horses, giraffe, zebra, dogs, chickens, geese, pig, cat….

Cons: We were there only one night and that is too short
