Central location, peaceful and the owner even kept on checking in on us.

Pros: The cottage was very comfortable, all amenities were there and very good hospitality

Cons: The pillows were a bit hard and the water takes a while to heat up enough to shower

Pros: The hotel is located in the nature area, it’s very calm and peaceful. The staff is friendly, the room is spotless. There is a braai zone just outside the room so you can cook for yourself. The location is very convenient if you want to visit the canyon Blyde, it’s just 20 km to the viewpoint Three rondavels. And the cutest thing in the place is the host’s dog, a female Lea. She went to us in the morning to say “Hello”

Pros: Room was large and well equipped. It was also close to the attractions people visit in the area. Supper from the restaurant was reasonably priced as well.

Pros: Great location after the Blyderiver dam boat trip. Friendly and very helpful staff with great food at the restaurant. The upgrade to a 2-bedroom chalet with a fireplace was a nice bonus on a cold, rainy night. Highly recommended when traveling in the area.

Pros: Really nice hosts, the unit is clean and fully equipped.

Cons: Hard to communicate with the hosts, we waited outside the gate until some guests from inside helped us. The intercom didn't work.

Typical stone house in a great location

Pros: The stone house where we stayed was nice and very characteristic. Hosts were very kind and helpful with the dinner service. Location is perfect, very close to the heart of Blyde River Canyon.

Cons: Furniture was a bit old-fashioned but this is also typical of a stone house.
