Beautiful stay with excellent hosts. Be prepared for the environment (roads, electricity, water).

Pros: Excellent facilities, modern and beautiful set-up, lots of space, lovely furniture and house layout. Fantastic pool and engaging with many wild animals - giraffe, zebra, kudu, warthog, bushbuck - all on the property around the pool. Amazing responsiveness of the owners and local house manager. Wonderful communication and support with our issues.

Cons: Surroundings with eroded gravel roads (it was only weeks after flooding in the region), very difficult for us with minibus to get to the house but after some road improvements got a little bit better. Also had issues with water access but the house had its own reservoirs (bought drinking water), the water pump of the area was later fixed. Also had electricity issues in the area, so had to rely on the solar panels plus battery of the house but it ran our as we used the air conditioning (not knowing we were running on battery). On very hot days (1-2) we thus had no air conditioning but that was fortunately fixed too.
