Perfect place to spend a couple of days unwinding

Pros: Pieter and Claudie were excellent hosts. The room was lovely with fantastic views across the valley. The food was fantastic. The whole team did their upmost to look after us

Cons: Ikelta is easy to get to and its n a tranquil and quiet location. If you need to be close to shops, restaurants and bars this may not be the place for you .

Pros: Pieter and Claudie are wonderful hosts and we had such a great time. It’s a unique and special place, so relaxing and calm. Food was delicious and the chalet is really charming with fantastic views from the private porch. I really enjoyed the hiking trails on the property. It’s the perfect location for the Panorama Route and Pieter and Claudie provided us with really helpful recommendations.

A good place to stop over before the Kruger NP

Pros: Friendly welcome and our accommodation was superb.

Cons: Missed the lapa which was a good place to chat and relax but which after a fire, has been replaced by a Safari type tent, not so relaxing. The included evening meal was rather basic, no choice really but the breakfast was very good.

I wished we has stayed longer to enjoy the surroundings and cool off in the pool

Pros: Each lodge is secluded within the surrounding vegetation. Thankfully the AC kept us cool at night with the mosquitoes outside. A very warm and personal welcome by the hosts.

Cons: Very little, thankfully WiFi replaced the lack of mobile phone coverage.

A perfectly relaxing and special end to our holiday.

Pros: The lodge was extremely comfortable, luxurious and relaxing. The rooms were spacious with wonderful views across the bush. seating outside was comfortable and private. The restaurant area and communal lounge area was very tastefully decorated in keeping with nature , local culture and the environment. The information in the rooms was not only extremely informative but interesting across a range of subjects from the local school to the flora and fauna. Peter and Claudia were very welcoming and helpful and we really wished we had planned to stay longer as there was clearly so much to do in the area and we will definitely return the next time we are heading out on safari.

Cons: One of our party had mobility issues and she found the paths difficult to manage also the private road up to the lodge would be very difficult without a 4x4 type vehicle, I would imagine a saloon car would struggle.

Pros: Prachtige locatie! Midden in de natuur. Een gebied met veel dieren! Pieter en claudie waren zeer gastvrij! Ideaal verblijf tijdens de panormaroute! Mooie lodge, alles zeer proper. Het eten was goed. We moesten de volgende ochtend vroeg vertrekken en kregen een ontbijt mee voor onderweg. Een aanrader!
