Pros: Walking up to horses walking past your window is amazing! Quiet, smells great, cute nursery

Cons: That we couldn't stay more than the one night

Excellent vacation destination

Pros: The tranquil facility facing the lake with all one would need for a perfect mind blowing vacation. The staff was welcoming and warm, Rooms were extra clean with modernised furniture. The horse riding and zip lining were amazing.

Cons: A kilometre gravel road from R71 to the facility and lack restuarant or coffee shop in the facility

Pros: Chalet setup. Neatness. Parking. Outdoor feel of the place.

Cons: The short trail needs better marking.

Pros: The location.. Peaceful and quiet. Tidy well kept gardens and property. Very friendly and helpful staff and owners.

My stay at Silver Mist was truly wonderful. The environment is serene, peaceful, and beautiful.

Pros: The location is excellent—very convenient and close to Tzaneen—making it an ideal place to stay over without the stress of driving through Magoebaskloof at night. The place is very quiet and clean. I will definitely visit again

Cons: The curtains in the bedrooms were not properly hooked and did not close fully, which compromised our privacy. This is a minor issue but should be attended tourtgently by the establishment.

Exceptional comfort, outstanding value, pure countryside charm.

Pros: What a pleasant surprise. I travel 1000km+ every week for business and make use of B&Bs, lodges, etc. at least 3 nights per week. It is extremely challenging to find excellent accommodation at reasonable rates. Silver Mist, however, exceeded all my expectations. From the clear communication from the resort since I booked, to Prosper's smooth check-in procedure and helpful nature, to the beautiful and well-equipped chalet – everything was just perfect! This is most definitely a “do-again.”

Cons: If I have to nit-pick, the shower could do with more water pressure, but then again – I live on a smallholding and fully understand the challenges of “farm life.”

Pros: Peaceful, beautiful, majestic, unforgettable.. And that's an understatement in respect of the Arabian horses being nurtured and groomed on the farm. Oh, the accommodation and ecosystem is great too :-)

Ensure the room is ready when people arrive but overall our stay was good

Pros: The staff was very nice , especially Prosper he ensured we knew all about the property

Cons: Our room was not ready at 2 when we got there , also though the room was cleaned there was still spider webs and they should try and fix the fly problem

Great getaway

Pros: A good place for a peaceful getaway. It has nice a View from the chalet

Pros: Cottage is Ashtoning, same as the sourrandings. Bed is very comfy with nice views, WiFi is very fast despite being isolated in the mountains and there is even Netflix account on the TV, kitchen was equipped to do your own cooking and the braai was perfect as well
