Delightful destination in a very beautiful part of the country

Pros: We were upgraded from one of the cottages after an issue with the stove….awesome customer service. The cabin is in a stunning location, is well appointed, and very cosy (as the weather wasn’t the best). Easy to get to the lake and lovely walking trails on the property.

Cons: Still can’t catch a bass ;-) but that is on the fishermen! The only downside is that the roads to the cottages and cabins needed to be navigated very carefully

Amazing breakaway

Pros: Quite , relaxing , amazing view over lake. The weather was cold, but an amazing fireplace warmed up with a great atmosphere

Wilderness farm life.

Pros: Peacefully morning walks along the forest, and lakes, birds watching, Afternoon garden rest. A group of 4 people and mountain bikes could have made it very interesting.

Incredible mountain getaway for friends, really serene and close to all the sightings in Magoebaskloof.

Pros: Incredible hosts, we were upgraded to the cabins for no extra cost and it was a wonderful experience with exceptional views and comfortable rooms.

It was fantastic hope to book with Stanford lake lodge again 😊😊

Pros: It was a homely feeling and comfortable. Every facility we needed was there 😊

Cons: As someone who likes cooking I found every facility I needed to cook, me and my family really enjoyed the stay. Even the baby felt at home, she never cried or felt any discomfort.
