Highgrove House Country Hotel

Our stay exceeded our expectations regarding service (dining and spa), meals and nature.

Pros: This was the most wonderful holiday for me while my husband had business in Hazyview. The staff members were all extremely attentive and professional. The food was 5-star and my husband's gluten free needs were perfectly catered for. The spa was the best that I had been to in the world. The farm is clearly well managed and the trees are most impressive. We cannot wait to be back.

Cons: We could not use our private pool due to the very cold water.

Excellent place for a recharge

Pros: If only there was a button to rate this place unlimited stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we visited Highgrove for my wife's birthday. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of incredible. The service was attentive and genuine, with such attention to detail that you instantly feel part of the family. The Food was wholesome, fresh and locally produced. Highgrove must have a Michelin-star chef hiding in the kithen! We were also lucky enough to meet the owner, one of the kindest and most humble people you will come across. This place is truly a gem to nourish both the body and soul. We cant wait to visit highgrove again 🙂

Pros: Everything about Highgrove was absolutely superb! The details are what matters and Highgrove focuses on every detail of the guest experience from the down pillows and comforter to the personalized turn down service to the wood burning fireplace at dinner to the furnishings and candlelight dinners. The food was above and beyond with 4-5 course dinners included - fine dining experience every night. The owners are very involved and have really created something precious here - it is magical!

Stunning hotel in a beautiful location, perfect for a relaxing stay!

Pros: - exceptional attention to detail with service. - incredible location amongst the forest to relax and unwind. - excellent level of dining experience. - spa treatments were fantastic. - personal and caring approach that you don’t get with big hotels. Staff went out their way to make us happy and enjoy our stay (part of our honeymoon), adding so many special touches to make it special.

A great experience of note

Pros: I don't know where to begin to describe the experience... I loved the personal experience for me and my person, we were celebrating and they catered for that The food was divine, breakfast superb and dinner was exquisite... everything served in our suite which gave us privacy and everything served on time Loved the Private pool and Sauna We went to Kruger, our breakfast pack was so delicious and you could sense it was done with love the staff who work there were great The gardens were magnificent To be honest... I have been in many 5* hotels both local and international but this one is the best

Out of this world

Pros: Stayed here for our last three nights of our honeymoon to South Africa. We taught all the other hotels that we stayed in during our honeymoon were off a very high standard, but the Highgrove easily topped them all. Everything about the hotel was exceptional, the meals were some of the best food I have ever had. Staff were very friendly and could do no more for you. The property itself is set in what could only be described as a bit of heaven on earth.

A Perfect Stop Over

Pros: We stayed over for one night at Highgrove House Country Hotel while on our way to another destination. We had a wonderful stay. The Host and staff were very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed a superb evening meal and breakfast which was served in the property's tranquil gardens. We shall definitely try to stay over again.

Pros: We stayed for only one night at the end of August before heading to safari. We should have booked longer! The atmosphere was so relaxed and the amenities were superb. Everything was planned for our comfort. The evening meal was delicious and we were made to feel like very special guests. Breakfast was just as great. We really enjoyed the personal tour around the grounds after Breakfast. Beautiful Avocado trees alongside a working Macadamia nut farm. Don't think twice about this place, just book it. And book for longer than you originally planned.

Pros: The staff was friendly and the food was excellent,and the rooms comfortable and clean. their hospitality was excellent.

Cons: Everything was good except the Wifi in the room was bad
