Visit to the Kruger

Pros: Great place, friendly host and good food. Close to the Phalaborwa gate into the Kruger.

Comfortable stay close to the Kruger park

Pros: Relaxed place conveniently close to Phalaborwa gate. Comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast.

Cons: Water was still a bit of a problem after the flooding, but that was only to be expected and were were told about that.

Perfect one night stop before heading into Kruger park through Phalaborwa gate. Dave was extremely welcoming, informativ

Pros: Spotlessly clean. Secure. Parking. Very calm and beautiful garden.

Pros: Large room, owner very helpful in places to go to eat ( although they do have a restaurant there) and with getting into and out of Kruger. We were going there when the heavy rains started. Nice pool and loungers. Beautiful grounds. Breakfast great wifi good.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.

Pros: The breakfast was amazing,we looked forward to the breakfast every morning.I don’t drink coffee,my husband had coffee and he still says it’s the best.Mr Dave is super friendly and helpful & so is everyone who works there.There’s a lady who helped to hold my baby while I finished dressing up for a wedding and I appreciated that so much..though I felt it was an inconvenience on her side.They also organised a mattress for my two children to sleep on coz the family rooms were fully booked.The place is breathtaking..I wish we had stayed for more days.It’s also convenient because of where it’s situated.The room was clean with good ventilation and also child friendly.When you request for anything,there’s a quick response.We loved the place and we’ll definitely be booking again the next time we go to Phalaborwa.

Pros: It was lovely to meet Dave and we really appreciated his warm hospitality. The lodge itself was fantastic, set in a large garden with loads of birdlife amid peaceful surroundings. Our room was spacious, especially the bathroom - and once the water issues were sorted, the shower was excellent with great water pressure. The rooms also have their own outdoor space, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. A really nice touch was Dave bringing over a couple of wine glasses after spotting a bottle on our table. Breakfast was served in the dining area with plenty of choice, and the omelettes were especially good! The lodge is also only about five minutes from Phalaborwa Gate, which made getting into the park super easy.

A favorite with a perfect location!

Pros: This was our second stay, and we still think this is a super nice place! Really close to Kruger National Park, shops and restaurants! The patio, garden and pool were lovely! We did not have breakfast, but appreciated the offer to change our minds if we needed to.

Cons: Can't think of anything, it's a lovely place, whether you stay one night or more.

Pros: Dave is an exceptional person, and so is the place! He is helpful, attentive, and provides the best information for your stay. The breakfast is delicious. We also enjoyed the pool and the barbecue area. We loved staying there!

Great venue with the world's happiest chap

Pros: Great layout with your own parking next to your room made organising our belongings easy. The owner is super positive, happy and helpful, which made us feel welcome. Something other places often struggle to achieve.
