Extremely beautiful, would definitely visit again

Pros: Stunning nature view, peaceful and quiet You just have to witness it for yourself, absolutely breathtaking

Overnight en route Johannesburg ... brief stay only.

Pros: Dinner was good - we did not eat breakfast. Magnificent gardens and surroundings

Cons: Light in bedroom not great for reading / spider and its egg on mosquito net had to be removed.

Pros: Definitely the incredible dinner and breakfast. The food is out of this world delicious. Vegan, but very fantastic. You definitely wouldn't miss meat at all. It is an experience that all should have. The views from the main reception and dining area. The library. The hosts. The homemade edibles you can purchase. The pressure of the water in the shower and taps is great. The serenity and nature.

Cons: The property does need a bit of TLC and the pool definitely needs a good cleaning, but don't let that put you off to paying a visit. When you dine well, you sleep well and I had both. Add nature and beautiful surroundings to that, and you have a good recipe. You will surely want to return.

Pros: What a beautiful property, we really felt truly relaxed going for walks and sitting on the balcony in the trees enjoying the outdoors. Marian is a lovely host and she was so welcoming Now lets talk the main event, the scrumptious vegan breakfast, we havent stopped talking about since we left and even bought some of the amazing tomato jam to bring home with us, This is wholesome delicious food like we have never experienced before. We cant wait to be back for one of the themed cooking weekend

Outstanding personable service is the new luxury!

Pros: Warm and personable service by the team in a characterful old world setting. An antidote to increasingly generic offerings in the hospitality industry. Excellent vegan dinner and breakfast cooked by the owner and enjoyed in front of a crackling fire in the living room!

Pros: Breakfast was lovely - vegan, Mediterranean - a delight!

Cons: mattress and pollows were too soft. Although candles are provided for power interruptions there was no matches or lighter - fortunately not required!!

Wonderful!

Pros: Old Joe’s Kaia is a haven of tranquility. Every part of it is beautiful and Marian and Paul are extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful experience. The vegan food they serve is absolutely delicious and contributes to the overall revitalising feel of the place. Heartily recommend!
