Away from the city

Pros: The property is secluded from town giving you a proper ‘bush experience’, the breakfast was delicious though I would suggest serving it a bit earlier as we had activities on the days and only ate it after, the hosts are friendly and responsive. It was a pleasant stay even with getting the damage deposit back.

Cons: The 40 minutes gravel road to the property, drivable with a small vehicle but can be uncomfortable. The upstairs room needs a fan as well it can get very hot up there during the night.

A perfect break away from the city!!! Supportive hosts

Pros: - Lynnette is an incredible host especially because we had an emergency and her and husband went out their way to support us- God bless them! - The breakfast was great and appreciated it, Sis Emmah truly loves her job and it shows!!! We appreciated her dedication - The fact that we had our own space is a dream. - The house is lovely with appliances especially the ice maker, that was a life saver considering shops are not easily accessible (if you don’t want to constantly drive out, come prepared with all you need as the drive in and out can be overwhelming as its gravel) - The cool down pool was the highlight of the home, we spent many hours relaxing and watching the gorgeous view. - The home is perfect break from the city

Cons: - The electricity being gone for most of the first two days of our stay was a challenge but Lynnette brought us lights and explained the reason. Would suggest getting a generator for the cottage for such occurrences if it’s repetitive or over extended time - The upstairs bedroom can be a danger as one can fall while going up or down the stairs as they are very steep. - The place could do well with more signage to guide you to get to the cottage for easier guidance - There were a few items that were broken ie: bathroom door isn’t working, a blind in the bedroom isn’t working, the main doors were difficult to open or close so just a few maintenance items to make the experience easeful

Bushveld Gem

Pros: Loved the welcome sign, bottle premium red wine on our arrival! The tranquility, well-equipped chalet, coffee machine with coffee pods, luxurious bed linen and rock swimming pool are unsurpassed. We could make use of both an outdoor braai facility as well as a weber braai. This is a true bushveld gem of 5 -star quality!! Thank you for a marvellous experience, Lynette! We hope to visit again. Beautiful luxurious hide away

Pros: Everything. The unit has luxury bedding and appliances. Everything you needed. Special finishes like the chocolate on the bed, the cutest custom welcome board on the tablet with home made rusks and wine. The best was the fact that it's so close to Mabalingwe gate and you can go on your own time to do a game drive and see stunning animals

Cons: Both bathrooms are ensuite so the people using upstairs need to share a bathroom with someone in the room

Pros: The place is amazing. Sadly getting the deposit back seems to be not happening. Pitty i would have gone there again but not refunding a secuirty deposit is in very bad taste. For that reason i will not visit this place again.

Cons: Not receiving my scurity deposit refund back.

It was a lovely stay, my kids would want to come again

Pros: The house was fully equiped, we lacked nothing. we lacked nothing, very responsive

Cons: There are no shops near buy, a reminder to bring your own groceries. Lucky we had snacks for the day

Pros: The terain was amazing, plus we as a family looove the wild outdoors.. The animals made it feel like we are really one with nature, it was more awesome gor the kids, and because of the rainy weather it allowed us to bond over some braai and poitjie...

Cons: The rain that wanted to steal our joy, but there was nothing not to like...

Pros: Beautiful scenery perfect location for tranquility. Home is a nice set up.

Cons: Sadly we experience no electricity or water for hours on end for the few days we were there by no fault of the owner. There was an Eskom problem so some other form of back up would have been great and sadly it just rained non stop so Mother Nature had her way.

Absolutely Gorgeous

Pros: Lynn is a supershost, she made sure we have everything we needee. The place is absolutely stunning! We had such an amazing time here. You’ve thought of everything, even things we wouldn’t have imagined, like the camp chairs and the ice maker—they were highlights of our trip. 11/10
