Old world charm and well positioned home.

Pros: The house is old and so are some of the furniture, but it has a lot of charm. Nice big fireplace. Easy check in arrangements. Good beds with clean linen✅

Cons: The lounge/sitting area is long, but narrow, which could make it a bit awkward if the group is more than six people.

No frills, no fuss, perfect for a family who want escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

Pros: The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable including hot blankets. Clean linen and towels. Cosy fireplace and sufficient blankets and a gas heater for a chilly winters day. Very nice gas stove (which we didn’t use much) Greg was friendly and helpful ( w.r.t. places to visit and suggested restaurants and pubs to visit) This cottage has a lot of old world charm, a beauty built in 1926, I loved the Oregon pine floors, door frames and extras which are evident of a 98 year old home. We spent time playing games in front of the huge fire place and had long conversations around the kitchen table. We did not use the braai area as it was windy over the weekend. Our fur babies felt right at home and enjoyed the large fenced in garden. (Thank you for affording us the opportunity to bring them with - they are an extension of our family)

Cons: Nothing to complain about, just a few suggestions which I will share directly with the host. We had a comfortable stay and will be back.

Amazing and comfortable

Pros: The house is definitely suitable for a huge family and or family and friends due to the amazing cottage outside. This was one of the few houses with coffee and tea available at no additional cost. There was a bag of wood that we enjoyed on the cold evening. Decor is amazing. This is just an amazing house with enclosed yard for your pet and super safe. Thank you for your kindness. Will definitely be back.

Pros: Very central to the village, almost everything in easy walking distance. No special view of the countryside from the house itself, and just a block or two away is a lovely walk to the dam.

Cons: Only outdoor furniture at the cottage, nothing by the main house.

Pros: The house was extremely neat. The bedrooms all have en-suites, dstv, and a gas stove and gas heater. Firewood was easily accessible. Property is very secure. Our stay was most enjoyable.

Cons: Nothing that we did not like! Even the family doggies were extremely @ home and enjoyed the space to run around.

Cons: There was absolutely nothing we want to complain about. Perhaps some other visitors would like a bath soap in the bathroom.
