Flight of the Eagle @ Kruger

We had an amazing time enjoying the wild life coming up to the fence for pellets.

Pros: Great location just a short walk down to the bordering road along crocodile river.

Cons: Perhaps add a dishwasher pellet per night stay in the kitchen pack.

Pros: Well equipped, comfortable and luxurious. Friendly owners. Lots and lots of wildlife to see straight from the stoep. Would recommend.

A bush break with peace and quiet where you can be close to nature but more than comfortable.

Pros: If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place which is home from home, and then some, the Flight Of The Eagle is the place. The house has everything and can be off grid if there are power or water issues. Spacious and very comfortable. We had a fantastic break. Thank You to Johan and Elize for all your help. Easy to exit and enter Marloth when doing day trips into the Kruger and the number of animals that visit when spending down time at the house is absolutely amazing.

Cons: Nothing not to like.

Pros: Loved the pool. The house is very clean and good equiped

Cons: It is near the river but not river veiw.

Gorgeous house surrounded by African nature

Pros: Beautiful, spacious house with every comfort, immersed in the Marloth park. You will find antelopes (and if you are lucky a few giraffes!) in the space in front of the house, you can give bananas to the bush babies that descend from the trees at sundown, it is a dream for children (but an exceptional experience for adults too). The cleaning is thorough and Elize, the owner, very kind and attentive. We didn't get a chance to meet personally (she was abroad for family reasons), but she looked after us from start to finish with great care. If you want to organise a guided safari, rely on her to arrange it: we had a wonderful safari experience with the best guide ever: Steven! We recommend grocery shopping before arriving, as you will be quite far from shops and restaurants and the road is mostly unpaved (but that is also the beauty of the experience, and the kitchen is well equipped).

Excellent, refreshing, and good value for money

Pros: The location was pleasant and safe, It was a little bit of an adjustment coming from Johannesburg, however, the change was a pleasant contrast. The general vibe was very relaxed, it is a great place to get away from the everyday. The facilities are very well maintained. They have wifi, they also have Netflix and a tv to watch it on, so if you need a brake from the kids there is a space to do that.

Cons: The fact that the dishes needed to be washed by the tenants was not preferable, especially given the short stay. Over longer stays this would not be an issue at all. The wind and the plants on the stoep were also an issue, they weren't weighted down properly and did fall over one evening, which made a loud sound as we were sleeping. The T.V. can give problems during intense load-shedding, I would suggest that the T.V. is unplugged when not in use, it can also just refuse to go on, unless it decides that it wants to work. However, the owners are very responsive to fix anything.

Great, would definitely visit again

Pros: We enjoyed our stay, lovely outdoor area, extremely neat and clean! Unforgettable experience with all the animals and getting to see the bush monkeys who come to visit at night.

Fantastisches Haus mit Pool und vielen Tieren.

Pros: Ein wunderschönes Haus, mitten im Park nur wenige Meter vom Fluss entfernt. Wir haben sehr gut in den Betten geschlafen. Fliegengitter an den Fenstern waren vorhanden. es ist ein Haus zum wohl fühlen .  Das tägliche Highlight waren die Tiere, die zum Haus kamen und dort gefressen haben. Es kamen wirklich sehr viele Tiere vorbei. Wir haben Futter im Park gekauft. Danach hatten wir Giraffen, Zebras, Warzenschweine und viele mehr bei uns am Zaun gehabt. Einfach fantastisch. Der Eingang zum Kruger Nationalpark war mit dem Auto in 15-20 Minuten zu erreichen. Dort haben wir dann die Big Five gesehen.
