Locust Retreat in Marloth Park

Exceptional place and exceptional host.

Pros: It has modern furniture especially the bedrooms. I loved it!!!!!

Lovely quiet getaway.

Pros: Lovely place for a quiet getaway. Well furnished and comfortable. We had daily visits from the wildlife including giraffe and Kudu. Our host Jose was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Pros: Extremely friendly hosts, the small things matter, they have tea and coffee for your first night so you don't have to dash to the shops, cozy and modern, good wifi. Aircons are a plus, didn't use the pool but it's deeper than your standard splash pools in most accomadation in marloth park I've stayed at, , solar backup (not that we needed it). Hosts supplied potjie pot on request. Hosts are truely fantastic and respond quick, will recommend them

Cons: Very close to the main road and far from the river views but definately not a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind if that's what you're after but then prepare to either pay alot more or get an old uncomfortable accommodation.

Pros: Locust Retreat offers a lovely stay. It is very neat, clean and modern. The host is very friendly and helpful. The visiting animals were a huge treat to us and especially our kids. Will definitely recommend.

Cons: Beds are very hard if you're someone that prefers a soft bed.

Amazing gem in Marloth

Pros: Absolutely stunning cottage, beautifully appointed with everything you need. Our hosts were wonderful.

Cons: Nothing not to like.

From start to finish even with the correspondence from Jose` it was excellent.

Pros: It was self catering so my wife was cooking, Everything was exceptional

Restful time away from the city is just what we needed and the kids had such fun.

Pros: The animals came right up to the door step. Load shedding did not affect our stay as there was an inverter. Air conditioning in both bedrooms which was such a pleasure. Very friendly host,I would come again 😁

Séjour incroyable

Pros: Nous avons été enchantés par l accueil très chaleureux, un Lodge bien équipé avec deux chambres confortables, douillettes , propres et décorées avec goût. Piscine privative et espace Bbq, idéale pour un verre après le dîner . Pas loin de l’ entrée du Park Krüger. Lieu exeptionnel pour profiter des animaux qui traversent tranquillement ce Park. L‘ hospitalite était chaleureuse et sincère. Nous avons vu et vécu des choses incroyables durant ce séjour Nous recommandons +++
