Isambane Camp

The hospitality of the place made our trip amazing and memorable.

Pros: The staff was very accommodating and sweet, they went out of the way to make things memorable for us. The drives were well managed and the guides did a great job.

Cons: The animal spotting was a bit less during the game drive.

Pros: the most incredible bush camp which feels private and intimate with only a few luxury cabins and tents on site. i cannot recommend isambane highly enough. i learnt so much in 4 days about animals, plants, trees and insects on the daily game drives with sanesh and lex. i wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone visit - i have already booked again for next year.

Cons: nothing, the luxury tents are comfortable with all amenities you may need - totally 5 star camp.

Unforgettable experience and passionate team

Pros: It is difficult to describe how much enjoyed our 3 daye at Isambane. The team is incredibly passionate and warmhearted, the food is varied and an absolute highlight thanks to the chef, the camp is beautiful with so much attention to detail. The game drives exceeded all our expectations and were full of fascinating insights. Thank you for an unforgettable time and for making our first safari such a special experience.

Simply Perfect - A True Gem in the Balule Reserve

Pros: Our stay at Isambane Bush Camp was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when we had a flat tire – they took care of it immediately and took the tire to the nearest town for repair. The food was delicious, the location right by the waterhole is unique, and the game drives were an unforgettable experience. We felt completely at ease and can highly recommend this camp for an authentic safari experience!

Cons: The bush cabins are really small and there is nearly no space for the bags and personal belongings. But this was the only thing which was not perfect.

Amazing 3 nights, would highly recommend

Pros: Wow what a place. Middle of the bush and you really feel part of nature. Super friendly staff, great food, so much animal life. We had a leopard we could see from our dining area. Rare to have an actual 10/10 experience, but this was it.

Cons: Minor, but they still use plastic straws. Which I think doesn’t fit this property

Exceptional

Pros: We really can’t fault our stay at Isambane. The lodge, food and safari drives were all incredible and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was ever too much trouble. We stayed for four nights and saw the big five and more, we also saw elephants from the terrace as we had our breakfast. We loved our time here and hope to come back one day!

Pros: The bush camp is amazing People working there are lovely and kind Safari are great...we saw lions, leopards, elefants and many others Elephants come to drink in the pool....it was an experience I really recommend going there Thank you so much for all

Amazing stay

Pros: We had a great time at the Isambane Camp and stayed here for two nights. Everything is perfect: very friendly hosts, the guides Lex and Emma are awesome and have a great knowledge, the food is extremely food (and the chef has a great sense of humor), the morning and evening drives were fantastic and our room (the tent) exceeded our expectations. Definitely recommended !

Cons: Nothing - all was perfect

Pros: Everything from accommodation to food and game drives were excellent. Staff is very service minded and friendly.

Private/personal lodge with only 5-6 rooms, and tremendous staff.

Pros: It was an incredible experience, mainly driven by the wonderful and personal staff!
