Loved everything about my stay

Pros: The kitchen everything you could need. Felt like home

Relaxing,

Pros: It's a very quiet place, u get to rest, breath of fresh air, away from the city. The host Johannes and mmeMaria were very nice to us. It rained and it was cold but we got the supply of wood the whole day. Their yard is very clean. I was worried about the road after it rained all nyt, but the road was not bad and I was reassured that we will get assist should we have issues.

Cons: The dogs. I am not a fan of dogs.

Absolutely breathtaking Scenery!!

Pros: Wonderful stay at Diggersrest, Haenertsburg We had a truly lovely stay at Diggersrest. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with beautiful surroundings that made it easy to relax and unwind. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning views of Haenertsburg added to the charm. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was well maintained, and the attention to detail was appreciated. Perfect for a quiet getaway or a nature-filled break. We would definitely recommend Diggersrest and look forward to returning again.

Pros: The welcome, the communication, the flexibility, the accomodation, the gardens the swimming pool… hobestly everything was spot on and exactly what I was looking for

Cons: Nothing to say

Pros: We loved the clean sheets, hot showers, warm fireplace, daily cleaning services, beautiful gardens, and breathtaking views. Johannes and Maria were absolutely wonderful hosts, very welcoming and friendly. The snug little cottage was perfect.

Cons: A small part of the road getting into Diggersrest poses a little challenge when it rains. The owner has assured that there are plans to improve the road for wet conditions.

Beautiful place to be in

Pros: It was peaceful, away from the city . Staff and the host were welcoming and communicated efficiently.

Cons: I understand there was an Eskom maintenance from 6am to 6 am.,knowing that there is load shedding or reduction. There should be more backup of power for this. Yes we got a paraffin lamp, the paraffin was a quarter full , one candle. So for one to bath, they should put a kettle on the gas stove. With all this, I would still recommend it, if you want scenery and peace

Peace and tranquility in the hills

Pros: Comfortable rooms, lovely fireplace, good self-catering facilities, friendly dogs….and stunning views. Great for bird-watching and general relaxation. Beautiful!

Cons: Had to leave after one night!

Pros: Reception was excellent with friendly staff.Place is clean.

Will stay there again, if the opprtunity arises. Went to the mountain of a 70th party.

Pros: View and location excellent, garden needs TLC. Pool under restoration and repairs are being done.
