Graceland Eco Retreat

Pros: Absolute peace and quiet. The five course Valentines meal was an out of this world experience, absolutely fabulous, thank you for spoiling us. The hosts were professional and friendly. We’ll be back!

Pros: Hosts Douglas and Anders were really friendly and welcoming. Throughout our stay they were very catering, they helped us with places to visit and see as it was our first time visiting Magoebaskloof. We had the privilege of having breakfast and dinner at their Pause restaurant, Anders had made us the most wonderful meals, which exceeded our expectations by miles. The views and the lookout point is spectacular, also the giraffes that come around in the mornings and evenings is something special. Graceland is definitely a must see. We cannot wait to go back again

Restful

Pros: Graceland Eco Retreat is an off the grid lodge with fully working amenities (hot water, electricity, gas stove, fridge). Information on the lodge is provided clearly in the room and you can enjoy a relaxed, peaceful visit there. The property has a family of giraffes that are delightful to see and you can take a hike or 4x4 drive on the premises. Pay attention to the route that you take to the lodge and choose wisely if you want to avoid going up mountainous paths (travelling from Tzaneen) and gravel or untarred sections which in rainy season may be unsuitable. That said, Douglas and Anders provided excellent travel assistance and keep you on the right path with well posted signs on route. Make sure you plan your meals and food well for self catering as you would not want to go grocery shopping while there.

Serene, tranquil space

Pros: Loved the place, the directions sent to us were clear and easy to follow. The place was clean and had everything we needed for a self catering stay. We were able to braai. Quiet space which allowed us to relax.

Pros: Our stay at Graceland Eco was exceptional and really good value for money. The rooms are very spacious and comfortably appointed. The property is easy to reach and the setting is superb. Our hosts were fantastic - accommodating and friendly. Lastly, we enjoyed a magnificent meal at the restaurant. I would highly recommend Graceland to anyone that travels to the Magoebaskloof area.

The perfect place if you want to relax away from a noisy environment and to escape loadshedding

Pros: The views from the room where beautiful and the dinner we had was outstanding. The room was spacious, the kichenette equiped with everything we needed and we even had an outside shower. The hosts , Douglas and Anders were so friendly and helpful. We definitely will go back.
