Timamoon Lodge

Perched high up in the forestry hills, Timamoon Lodge is located in Hazyview, just 800 metres from the R40. The lodge offers an outdoor pool, restaurant and terrace. The secluded suites come fitted with a fireplace, daybeds and private pools overlooking the forest and distant mountains. Each suite contains a fan, safe and minibar. They all include tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Timamoon Lodge’s Bali-style restaurant is built on stilts alongside a small pond and overlooking the garden. Fantastic

Pros: The days were a true adventure. Accommodation in the jungle offered plenty of privacy. The staff and cooks were fantastic. Dirk, in particular, is a wonderful person who was always there for us and offered his help. We have never met a better host than Dirk.

This place is beautiful and magical!

Pros: It truly is a beautifull place, peacefull and really relaxing. The food is out of this world and so is the service and the staff.

Cons: Would have liked to have some hooks in the bathrooms and maybe outside to hang towels and some more practical cupboard space.

Always lovely & relaxed.

Pros: Always go there once a year to celebrate bday or anniversary. That's why we always go back there.

Cons: Food, view from room, food. Absolutely beautiful! I would however change the food menu a bit, as we have very much the same every year and warming the pools at the units.

Pros: Stunning location, exceptional villa, attentive staff, fabulous dinner and breakfast. Lots of special things, and don't want to write and take away the surprises. God willing we will be back.

Swept away, not ready to return to reality.

Pros: Experiencing escapism is not a myth. Once you are here, it feels like you were transported to another dimension. Every detail was thought of, truly magnificent!

Cons: Everything was perfect, if I must really soul-search for something I dislike, it must be the water pressure (in the shower) it was low, but since you are in the jungle, it was understandable!
