Wilderness on your doorstep

Pros: All the guides were absolutely amazing and truly made our stay unforgettable. A special mention to LG and Charlie, who really stood out for their incredible knowledge and impressive tracking skills. Their ability to spot wildlife and share fascinating insights about the animals and the reserve added so much depth to our experience. You can tell they are genuinely passionate about what they do. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Every day brought something new and exciting. The sundowners overlooking the reserve were a definite highlight β€” watching the sunset with a drink in hand while taking in the breathtaking scenery was pure magic. We loved staying in our mud hut, which felt authentic yet very comfortable, and spending a night in the tree house was such a unique and memorable experience. Falling asleep surrounded by the sounds of the bush is something we will never forget. An incredible stay from start to finish! Definitely value for money!

Amazing experience!

Pros: The lodge is in the middle of the bush, quiet, pitch dark at night, wildlife around the camp. The staff were truly excellent and soooo kind!! The game drives fantastic, we've seen so much, guides very knowledgeable . It is all very simple and ecological, but at the same time so great and well organized, it has it all. The food also delicious and Michelin style presented. Keep up the good work!!

Cons: We were here in summer (February) and it was really warm, then you wish there was air-conditioning. Something to keep in mind if you plan to visit in the summertime.

Unique experience

Pros: The property was clean, very specious with a large bad and nice outdoor bathroom overlooking the park. There are two swimming pools that are overlooking the park and if lucky enough you can spot some animals. Nice dining area where food gets served and a bar. There was drinking water and coffee always available. Game drives are done in very small groups in contrast what I saw other parks doing. This makes the drives so much more relaxed and quiet. Same with walking safari.

Cons: Would have been nice to have an airconditioning but for me it wasn’t a deal breaker.

Wonderful stay, 10/10 would recommend

Cons: Nothing, everything perfect.

Great experience great camp.

Pros: What a great experience, the whole team was fantastic, staff very helpful friendly and knowledgeable. We learnt so much about 'tracking during the walking safari's. I was at first a little unsure about walking so long in the beginning, but it became a highlight of our stay. Rooms were comfortable and clean, food was tasty and plentifully. We had a great sundowner bush bar experience and our own private celebrated sundowner that the camp provided was emotionaly fantastic. Would recommend this camp to all.

Cons: Not a thing.

A relaxing and enriching experience. A deep dive in african wilderness

Pros: The walk and drives with the rangers Charlie and Julian were exceptional. They are passionate and extremely knowledgeable. They went the extra mile to provide us with a rich experience of the bush. Close encounters with Lions, Leopards and all the other wild animals were really thrilling! The staff at the camp were all very friendly and welcoming.

It was nice, and had a good time with my family...

Pros: Good location, beds not very comfortable...property is a bit restricted to go around the bigger area of the bigger reserve...bit difficult to see the Big 5...of the restrictions. Of the lodge...

Cons: Location and the restrictions of seeing the bigger reserve, and to see the big 5...

Amazing! 10/10 stay. Unique and special

Pros: We loved our stay at Africa on foot. It was a very unique and special stay that I feel very lucky to have experienced. The walking safaris were like any other and very special to see how the guides track animals. Their skill is incredible. All staff were lovely and knowledgeable - from the guides, through to the cooks and maintenance workers. The food was also amazing! I am vegetarian and was extremely happy with the quality of the food I was given. They feed you really well!

Pros: Absolutely everything about Africa on Foot is amazing. Staff are attentive, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. They truly make the the place what it is. Outstanding hospitality (best we have had). Facilities are clean and tastefully decorated. Food.. Just Wowwww! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always a treat. The pools were beautifully located and clean. The rooms were spacious. The morning walks were such a treat. The guides are first class and work hard to show you as much as possible, whilst also giving you interesting information about then bush and its animals. The arvo/night drives were out of this world. We saw soooo much. Lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, hippos, giraffes, hyenas, antelopes, birds!! And much much more. This place is a must. Don't hesitate to book. We wish we had stayed longer than 2 nights.

Walk the bush in a modern bush chalet

Pros: Amazing place. It felt very modern and comfortable. The guides were very knowledgeable. We got very lucky and saw a cheetah up close walking past our car. The walking safari was also a bonus and different from driving safari. We would recommend walking, to learn about tracking and rhino dung. They also gave us a lovely romantic honeymoon dinner.

Cons: Nothing that we disliked.
