Great time!

Pros: We really loved the location -it’s very calm and peaceful. The food was excellent, and the safari experience was truly great. Our tour guide and ranger, Abigail, was absolutely fantastic and made our experience even more special. The facilities were very good as well. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed everything.

Cons: One thing we didn’t like was that the photos on Booking do not clearly show all the available rooms. We booked one room but were placed in a different one, which was smaller and not as nice as the one we expected. It was clean, and housekeeping was excellent- they came several times a day, which was extraordinary -but we were disappointed not to get the room with the small outdoor seating area that we were expecting. We also had a small issue with the AC, which was fixed the next day. The organization could also be improved. At reception, we were not given clear information about the safari arrangements or dinner locations. Since there are several restaurants and different dinner spots, it would be helpful if guests were informed in advance where dinner would take place each evening. Instead, we had to ask around to find out. Additionally, it was not explained that guests are assigned to one ranger and one safari vehicle for their entire stay. Because of this, we initially went to the wrong car, which was already assigned to another group, and it was a bit uncomfortable and confusing. Better communication and clearer organization regarding safari group assignments would greatly improve the experience. We also found it slightly inconvenient that we had to order drinking water all the time. Sometimes only sparkling water was available instead of still water. Although tap water can be consumed, if you are unsure about it, this may feel uncomfortable and could potentially cause concerns.

Great value for money!

Pros: Tastefully decorated rooms, well maintained and clean. Beautiful surroundings with a lot of birds in the main lodge. There are also antelope and squirrels to be seen in the camp. Delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff is very friendly. The rangers are knowledgeable (shoutout to Vincent who kept us entertained!) and the game drive vehicles clean and in good condition.

Cons: We did not see a lot of animals on the games drives, but that is probably due to all the rain (plenty of water available everywhere and lush vegetation providing cover for the animals).

Great Experience, friendly Staff

Pros: We had mazing game drives and were fortunate to see most of the animals. The highlight was to come across a pack of wild dogs, very rare and amazing. Our guide was very informative and friendly. All round great experience. I think the only animal we did not see was a leopard which we know is extremely rare so 10/10

Cons: Food at dinner time was average - a lot of choice but perhaps teh choice should be reduced and quality improved. Breakfast was excellent and lunch was also great. Some maintenance required in rooms we had a few issues with lights not working and problems with the WC. Can be fixed with a bit more maintenance checks etc.

First safari for me and it was a superb experience

Pros: Amazing location, lovely people, great safari and excellent food

Cons: They miss a gym ! The food is so amazing and we were so well taken care of during the safari that I would have loved exercising indoor (too hot for outdoor)

Pros: Excellent staff. Huge variety of food.. Dietary requirements were meet. A 10/10 for this resort.

Cons: The rooms that was allocated to us were secluded section of lodge and a steep walk up and gravel which was not pleasant.. No lighting leading to the rooms.

Amazing! Loved it! Worth the price! 2 Nights is the perfect amount of time to stay.

Pros: It was a vey unique experience and the property added to the unique experience. It was amazing to walk around and you definitely felt like you were in another world. It felt like going to “Jurassic Park” if I had to compare it to anything.

Cons: There was a function occurring during our stay and therefore we were unable to experience the Boma area. This was a little disappointing as we had seen and heard so much about the Boma experience from online videos. We had our dinner setting in the restaurant instead.
