Incredible and just the relaxation we needed.

Pros: The views are spectacular and being in the middle of a natural park with wild animals roaming is a lovely experience. The dinner/breakfast views are unbeatable. I also loved the bathtub placement !

Amazing Stay on Krugers doorstep

Pros: Second visit to this lodge with the best views over the Cricodile river , we had an amazing stay , lovely to see Bertus , Trish , Siphiwe and Charlotte again and meeting the new owners Ruan & Tanya. Can't wait to see you all again. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a base to explore Kruger

Great Lodge in proximity to Kruger National Park

Pros: Everything excellent, fantastic place to stay. The breakfast is excellent and the (optional) dinner is very good, the chef is a true pro. And the view is priceless: from the terrace directly towards the Crocodile River with its abundant wildlife. The owners and the host (Bertus) are very helpful and friendly.

Pros: The Lodge is a real gem, directly located along the Crocodile River. We had great breakfast and amazing dinner with a beautiful view over the river. The room was very spacious and truly beautiful, also with a great view! Staff was very friendly, we were taken good care of by Bertus and Ruan, also everyone else of the team was amazing! The ideal place to visit the Kruger, totally recommended!

Exceptional Hospitality and Cuisine!

Pros: Our stay at Kruger Private Lodges was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Bertus truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after — his hospitality made a huge difference to our experience. The lodge itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and set in an incredible location that really lets you soak in the magic of the bush. Every detail felt thoughtful and well cared for. The food deserves a special mention — it was honestly outstanding. Each meal felt higher than restaurant-quality, and the chefs are absolutely amazing. We were blown away by the flavour, presentation, and consistency throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Kruger Private Lodges to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay. We would love to return one day.

Christmas Spoil

Pros: Breathtakingly beautiful view. The staff (Bertus) was exceptional. Stunning huge room. Communal areas are serene and very tasteful decor.

Cons: Dinner could perhaps include a starch and salad. Welcoming drinks and a cold towel would elevate the experience. Making a special occasion of Christmas was lacking.

Pros: A wonderful hotel where you feel at home from the very first moment. The personal and truly individual attention to each guest is exceptionally warm, almost like relaxing in your own living room – just with a stunning view of the Kruger National Park. The room is full of character and perfectly complements the cozy, unique atmosphere. An absolute feel-good place that I can highly recommend!
