Warm welcome from the host and great value for money

Pros: Warm welcome from the lady at reception. She also let me check out later than usual time after coming back from the early morning Kaapsehoop marathon. Was able to take a shower and rest a bit before checking out for my long drive back home. That was a good gesture! Property itself has got modern finishings and places for kids to play in. Great value for money. It’s a place I can come back to.

Cons: We decided on the accommodation according to the location, but it was not as indicated on the Bookings.com listing. Luckily, we asked for a pin location beforehand. We would have ended up in the middle of nowhere at night if we didn't. Please update

Pros: The rooms were beautiful, clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had the best pizza next to the pool and the host and entire staff were absolutely amazing.

Pros: It's really such an amazing place to visit, We honestly had the best experience and it really exceeded our expectations. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The food was really good and the views was just breathtaking. Overall it was honestly worth the money and I really wish to go there again.

Super friendly staff. Facilities very neat and clean.

Pros: The facilities are simple (One room with an en-suite shower and toilet.), but very neat and very clean. We will definitely go again. We travelled to Kruger Park and surroundings for day trips, and only really slept at Mabalel. They took the kids on a game drive without us even having to ask!

Cons: They were renovating some units (so it was a bit noisy), but that should be finished soon.

WELL DONE! GOOD LUCK WITH ALL THE RENOVATIONS - WE WILL BE BACK

Pros: Everything was excellent. We had 7 netball girls with us and the staff went out of their way with supper and the next morning breakfast with a smile at 6:00, as we needed to leave early for Netball. An awesome experience with amazing staff. Thank you.

Cons: Nothing - They are busy with renovations - but still we had an amazing stay - thank you

Pros: The friendly staff and great atmosphere. The manageress went out of her way to ensure we are comfortable and that all our needs were met. The lodge is a great family get a way and our kids enjoyed the play area, pool and donkeys a lot!

Cons: Looking forward for all the building and renovations to be completed. Parking spaces can be better marked.
